SAFETY PRECAUTIONS!

Please read carefully and keep for future use!
• All electrical units in and around the pond must be dis-
connected from the power/mains supply before conducting
work in and around the pond or at the sera pond fil bioac-
tive pressure filter.
• The locking ring may cause contused wounds and cuts
when handled improperly. Wear working gloves and follow
the advice provided within the text.
• Do not operate if the pressure filter is submerged!
• For free-standing installations of the pressure filter, secure
vertically no closer than 1.2 m (3.9 ft.) from the pond edge
to ensure it does not fall into the water!
• Do not bury the pressure filter entirely! The upper edge of
the filter must remain above ground level if buried.
• At the first sign of frost, disconnect and drain the pressure
filter, and store in a frost-free location. We recommend thor-
oughly cleaning and lubricating all sealing rings before win-
ter storage.

Warning
1. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not

Warranty:
When following the directions for use the sera pond fil bioac-
tive pressure filter will perform reliably. We are liable for the
freedom from faults of our products only within legal regula-
tions beginning with the purchase date.
We are liable for complete flawlessness at delivery. Should
usual wear and tear occur by use as intended by us, this is not
considered a defect. Warranty claims are also excluded in this
case.
In every case of a defect we recommend that you consult the
specialized retailer where you purchased the unit. He will be
able to judge whether it is actually a warranty case. In case of
(item No. 08196) sending the unit to us we will unnecessarily have to charge you
(item No. 08197) for occurring costs.
(item No. 08198) Any liability because of contract breach is limited to intent or
(item No. 08478) gross negligence. sera will be liable in case of slight negli-
(item No. 08480) gence only in case of injuries to life, body and health, in case
(item No. 08199) of essential contractual obligations and with binding liability
(item No. 08200)
according to the product liability code. In that case, the extent
of liability is limited to the replacement of contractually typical-
ly foreseeable damages.
Warranty claims will be void in case of operation with saltwa-
ter or corrosive liquids.
