The
B'126 CD
player
is
factorysetto operatewith
the
line
voltage specified
on
the
rear panel.
Make
sure
that this voltage rating
agrees
with
yourAC supply
system.
The CD player
can
be
converted
to
a
different
line
voltage
but
this
work should
be
pedormed
by an
authorized
REVOX dealer.
Connect
the
CD
player
to
the
AC outlet
by
means of
the non-detachable power
cord.
By means of
the bypacked
cable,
connect the
two
FIXED
OUTPUT
[20]
cinch
sockets on
the
rearof the
CD
playerto
the
"CD". "Disc",
or'Aux"
input
of
your preamplifier or integrated ampli-
fier.
Press
the
POWER
[1]
key
on
the front
panel
to
switch
on
the
CD
player.
When
you
press
the
POWER
['1
]
key again.
the
CD player
switches
off
(standby).
You
can
also power
on
the
CD
player by means of other
keys,
referto
Sec-
tion
2.
When the
CD
player
is
switched
off but
still
con-
nected to the
AC
power
source,
it operates
in
standby mode
(signalled
bythe standby
LED
in
the
window
of
the
infrared receiver
[19],
which
means
that the
CD player
can
be
conveniently
sv.ritched
on and
off
by means of
the
REVOX
B20B lR remote control from
your
listening
position.
Because
the
power
consumption
in
standby
is
negligible
(approx.
5
W). you can
leave
the
CD
player
permanently connected.
