In addition to its outstanding music playback features, the device is a full BT hands-free set,
suitable to place or take wireless phone calls with excellent voice quality as you enjoy your

Getting started
Charging the battery
®
Fontastic Cida is equipped with an internal rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. Connect Cida
via the mini-USB cable provided. The cable can be connected to a computer or a standard USB
power adapter. The back LED of Cida lights up while charging. The normal charging time is 2-3
hours. The LED turns red when fully charged. The cable can be disconnected from Fontastic
Cida. A Low Battery condition is indicated by a fl ashing red LED.
Note: Charge Cida for at least 3-4 hours before initial use.
Switching On /Off
To turn Cida on, set the switch to „On".
To turn Cida off, set the switch to „Off".
Pairing
®
Cida must be paired with a Bluetooth device before use. This process is performed in two
steps, one in Cida, and the other one in the Bluetooth
Note: Please note that different mobile phones may require different pairing methods.
1. Turn Cida on by setting the On / Off switch to „On". The LED starts to glow.
2. Now press and hold the multi-function button for 8 seconds to enter pairing mode.
The LEDs will alternately switch between blue and red to indicate that Cida is in pairing mode.
3. Use your mobile phone, computer or another Bluetooth® transmitter in order to search for

Bluetooth audio devices.

4. The Bluetooth device should indicate that it has found „Cida".
5. Confi rm pairing with Cida. Enter „0000" if you are asked for a pairing code.
If you are unsure about the pairing procedure of your Bluetooth
device manual.

If using a Bluetooth transmitter without display, place this in pairing mode and wait a few
seconds until the connection with Cida is established.
Note: If the connection is lost or the transmitter is temporarily disconnected, press the
multi-function button of Cida to restore the connection.
Music playback
®
To play music with Fontastic Cida this must be connected to a Bluetooth
can enjoy your favourite music wirelessly.
Note: The device must support the A2DP profi le for music streaming.
Hands-free features
With its built-in microphone and noise reduction mechanism, the intelligent Fontastic
perfectly suited for use as a hands-free phone.
Answer / End / Reject calls
To answer an incoming call, briefl y press the multi-function button.
To end an ongoing call, briefl y press the multi-function button on Cida.
To reject calls, press the multi-function button for 2 seconds.
Redial
Press and hold the multifunction button for 3 seconds to select the last number dialled.
The phone selects the last number dialled.
Vioce dial
Press and hold the multifunction button. Say the voice tag. Your phone will dial the desired
number.

Note: In order to use the voice recognition feature, you mobile phone must support voice dial
and store the appropriate voice patterns.
Microphone mute
To mute the microphone during an active call, press the multi-function key twice.
Repeat the process to cancel the mute.
Transfer call between headset and mobile phone
During a call, press and hold the multifunction key for about 3 seconds to transfer the conversa-
tion between Cida and the mobile phone back and forth. Repeat the process to return the call to
Cida.
Note: Please note that your mobile phone must support the call transfer feature. If you cannot
return to the call from the headset, please use the mobile phone.

Adjust the volume via the Bluetooth device as described in its operating instructions.
