CARACTÉRISTIQUES
• Le dispositif est un capteur à distance
pour actionneur AS1000. Il permet de relever la température ambiante à
un point précis dans les systèmes de chauffage/rafraîchissement EQUI-
CALOR®. Il exclue automatiquement la sonde de température intégrée
dans l'actionneur.

Installation murale du dispositif avec câble encastré
1. Définir le lieu d'installation du capteur, en suivant les indications reportées
au paragraphe 'POSITIONNEMENT DU CAPTEUR'.
2. Extraire le boîtier de la sonde du support en le tournant comme indiqué sur
la Fig. 1a. La fente indique le sens d'ouverture (Voir Fig. 1b).
3. Retirer la protection supérieure et se munir des 2 vis 2x10 et des 2 chevilles
4x30 contenues à l'intérieur (Voir Fig. 2).
4. Remonter la protection supérieure en fermant le boîtier. Le fixer alors en
vissant les 2 vis 2x10 (Voir Fig. 3).
5. Faire passer le câble dans la paroi en le tirant par son extrémité 'P2' (Voir Fig. 1c).
6. Passer l'extrémité 'P2' du câble à travers le trou central (P3) du support et
utiliser les 2 chevilles 4x30 pour fixer le support à la paroi au niveau des deux
trous 'P4' (Voir Fig. 4).
7. Presser le goujon de fixation (P2) dans le logement (P5) au centre de la pro-
tection inférieure. Le cran du goujon 'P2' indique le blocage réussit (Voir Fig. 4).
8. Accrocher le boîtier de la sonde du support en le tournant comme indiqué
sur la Fig. 7.
9. Procéder au raccordement de l'actionneur. Voir point 'B'.

Installation murale du dispositif avec câble apparent
1. Définir le lieu d'installation du capteur, en suivant les indications reportées
au paragraphe 'POSITIONNEMENT DU CAPTEUR'.
2. Extraire le boîtier de la sonde du support en le tournant comme indiqué sur
la Fig. 1a. La fente indique le sens d'ouverture (Voir Fig. 1b).
3. Retirer la protection supérieure et se munir des 2 vis 2x10 et des 2 chevilles
4x30 contenues à l'intérieur (Voir Fig. 2).
4. Placer le goujon 'P2' (Voir Fig. 1c) et son capteur à l'intérieur de la protection
inférieure au niveau du passage P6 ou P7 (Voir Fig. 5).
5. Remonter la protection supérieure en fermant le boîtier. Le fixer alors en

AS1000 actuator. It detects the ambient temperature in EQUICALOR®
heating/cooling systems in a set point. It automatically excludes the
temperature probe integrated in the actuator.

Wall mounting the device with concealed wiring
1. Decide where to install the sensor, following the indications in the 'POSITIO-
NING THE SENSOR' paragraph.
2. Remove the probe container from the support, turning it as shown in Fig. 1a.
The square indicates the direction of opening (see Fig. 1b).
3. Lift up the top cover and take out the 2 screws (2x10) and 2 dowels (4x30)
inside (see Fig. 2).
4. Replace the top cover, closing the container. Then secure it by tightening the
two 2x10 screws (See Fig. 3).
5. Route the cable into the wall, pulling it from the end marked 'P2' (see Fig. 1c).
6. Pass the end of the cable marked 'P2' through the central hole (P3) of the
support and use the 2 dowels (4x30) to anchor the support to the wall by the
two holes marked 'P4' (see Fig. 4).
7. Press the fixing pin (P2) into the slot (P5) in the middle of the bottom cover.
When the pin marked 'P2' clicks, this shows that it is locked (see Fig. 4).
8. Attach the probe container to the support, turning it as shown in Fig. 7.
9. Then connect the actuator. See point 'B'.

Wall mounting the device with visible wiring
1. Decide where to install the sensor, following the indications in the 'POSITIO-
NING THE SENSOR' paragraph.
2. Remove the probe container from the support, turning it as shown in Fig. 1a.
The square indicates the direction of opening (see Fig. 1b).
3. Lift up the top cover and take out the 2 screws (2x10) and 2 dowels (4x30)
inside (see Fig. 2).
4. Slot the pin marked 'P2' (see Fig. 1c) and its sensor into the lower cover, by
the through-hole P6 or P7 (see Fig. 5).
5. Replace the top cover, closing the container. Then secure it by tightening the
two 2x10 screws (see Fig. 5).
6. Use the 2 dowels (4x30) to anchor the support to the wall by the two holes
marked 'P4' (See Fig. 6a and Fig. 6b).

Installation du dispositif sans boîtier de protection
1. Définir le lieu d'installation du capteur en garantissant la bonne protection de
sa tête contre l'humidité, la poussière ou les vibrations. Suivre les indications
reportées au paragraphe 'POSITIONNEMENT DU CAPTEUR'.
2. Fixer l'extrémité du câble dotée de capteur à l'aide d'un trombone ou autre.
3. Procéder au raccordement de l'actionneur. Voir point 'B'.

Raccordement de l'actionneur
1. Individualiser l'actionneur que l'on souhaite mettre à distance.
2. Appuyer avec deux doigts sur les côtés de la protection supérieure de l'action-
neur au niveau de la rainure P8 (Voir Fig. 8) et tirer pour retirer cet étui.
3. Retirer le couvercle P9 de la protection inférieure (Fig. 9a).
4. Passer le connecteur placé à l'extrémité (P1 - Voir Fig. 1c) du câble de raccor-
dement à travers le trou 'P10'. Appuyer sur le goujon P1 jusqu'au cran indiquant
le blocage réussit (Voir Fig. 9b).
5. Placer soigneusement le connecteur dans le logement (P11) en respectant le
sens des contacts indiqué sur la Fig. 9c.
6. Remonter la protection supérieure de l'actionneur et appuyer jusqu'au cran
de blocage.
AVERTISSEMENTS
• Faire attention à des interférences possibles en raison de la disposition du câble
(EMC).
• Ne pas installer le capteur à distance AE 1000 sur des actionneurs se trouvant
dans des pièces définies comme 'ZONE 1' (Voir le manuel d'utilisation en annexe
au chronothermostat DC 1000/DC 1010).
• L'installation de la sonde doit être effectuée exclusivement par du personnel
autorisé en conformité aux normes et lois en vigueur.
• La partie en céramique de la sonde (il s'agit de la tête de détection qui se
trouve à l'extrémité P2 du câble de raccordement) est un élément fragile et il
est donc nécessaire de ne pas exercer de pression excessive lors de sa mani-
pulation.
• Prendre soin de ne pas mettre le dispositif en contact avec de l'eau ou de
l'exposer à un taux d'humidité élevé.

Installing the device without the protective container
1. Decide where to install the sensor, making sure its head is protected against
moisture, dust or vibrations. Follow the indications in the 'POSITIONING THE SEN-
SOR' paragraph.
2. Attach the end of the cable fitted with the sensor with the aid of a paper clip
or similar.
3. Then connect the actuator. See point 'B'.

Connecting the actuator
1. Decide which actuator is to be controlled remotely.
2. Use two fingers to press the sides of the top actuator cover by the groove
marked 'P8' (see Fig. 8) and pull to remove this casing.
3. Remove the cap marked 'P9' from the bottom cover (Fig. 9a).
4. Pass the connector located at the end (P1 - see Fig. 1c) of the connection
cable through the hole marked 'P10'. Press the pin marked 'P1' until it clicks.
This shows that it is locked (see Fig. 9b).
5. Place the connector carefully into the slot (P11) respecting the direction of
the contacts, shown in Fig. 9c.
6. Replace the actuator top cover and press until it clicks into place.
WARNINGS
• Pay attention to possible interference due to the arrangement of the cable
(EMC).
• Do not install the remote AE 1000 sensor on actuators in premises defined as
'ZONE 1' (See the user manual accompanying the DC 1000/DC 1010 program-
mable thermostat).
• The probe must only be installed by authorised personnel in accordance with
current legislation and regulations.
• The ceramic part of the probe (the detector head located at the P2 end of the
connecting cable) is a fragile element and it is therefore necessary to take care
not to apply excessive force when handling it.
• Take care to ensure the device does not come into contact with water or remo-
ve it in the event of high levels of humidity.
POSITIONING THE SENSOR
• The location for installation must be
chosen so that the sensor can detect the room temperature as accurately as
possible. The position must be exposed to good air circulation. The following
instructions must be followed: DO NOT expose to direct sunlight • DO NOT place
near doors • DO NOT place on perimeter walls • DO NOT place near piping inside

Installazione a parete del dispositivo con cavo sotto traccia
1. Definire il luogo per l'installazione del sensore, attendendosi alle indicazioni
riportate nel paragrafo 'POSIZIONAMENTO DEL SENSORE'.
2. Estrarre il contenitore della sonda dal supporto, ruotandolo come indicato
nella Fig. 1a. Lo scacco indica il verso di apertura (Vedere Fig. 1b).
3. Sollevare la copertura superiore e munirsi delle 2 viti 2x10 e dei 2 tasselli
4x30 contenuti all'interno (Vedere Fig. 2).
4. Riposizionare la copertura superiore, chiudendo il contenitore. Quindi fissarlo
avvitando le 2 viti 2x10 (Vedere Fig. 3).
5. Incanalare il cavo nella parete, tirandolo dall'estremità 'P2' dello stesso (Vedere
Fig. 1c).
6. Passare l'estremità 'P2' del cavo attraverso il foro centrale (P3) del supporto
e utilizzare i 2 tasselli 4x30 per ancorare il supporto alla parete in corrisponden-
za dei due fori 'P4' (Vedere Fig. 4).
7. Premere il perno di fissaggio (P2) nell'alloggiamento (P5) al centro della co-
pertura inferiore. Lo scatto del perno 'P2' indica l'avvenuto bloccaggio (Vedere
Fig. 4).
8. Agganciare il contenitore della sonda al supporto, ruotandolo come indicato
in Fig. 7.
9. Procedere al collegamento dell'attuatore. Vedere punto 'B'.

Installazione a parete del dispositivo con cavo a vista
1. Definire il luogo per l'installazione del sensore, attendendosi alle indicazioni
riportate nel paragrafo 'POSIZIONAMENTO DEL SENSORE'.
2. Estrarre il contenitore della sonda dal supporto, ruotandolo come indicato
nella Fig. 1a. Lo scacco indica il verso di apertura (Vedere Fig. 1b).
3. Sollevare la copertura superiore e munirsi delle 2 viti 2x10 e dei 2 tasselli
4x30 contenuti all'interno (Vedere Fig. 2).
4. Alloggiare il perno 'P2' (Vedere Fig. 1c) e il relativo sensore all'interno della
copertura inferiore, in corrispondenza del passante P6 o P7 (Vedere Fig. 5).
5. Riposizionare la copertura superiore, chiudendo il contenitore. Quindi fissarlo
avvitando le 2 viti 2x10 (Vedere Fig. 5).
6. Utilizzare i 2 tasselli 4x30 per ancorare il supporto alla parete in corrispon-
denza dei due fori 'P4' (Vedere Fig. 6a e Fig. 6b).
7. Agganciare il contenitore della sonda al supporto, ruotandolo come indicato
in Fig. 7.
8. Procedere al collegamento dell'attuatore. Vedere punto 'B'.

Installazione del dispositivo privo di contenitore di protezione
1. Definire il luogo per l'installazione del sensore, garantendo la giusta prote-
zione della sua testa nei confronti di umidità, polvere o vibrazioni. Attenersi alle
indicazioni riportate nel paragrafo 'POSIZIONAMENTO DEL SENSORE'.
2. Fissare l'estremità del cavo provvista di sensore con l'ausilio di una graffetta
o altro.
3. Procedere al collegamento dell'attuatore. Vedere punto 'B'.
