Preparing Sandwiches

1. Insert the heating plates into the contact grill or make sure that the heating
plates are inserted correctly into the heating plate holder (C). Both heating
plates are identically.
2. Connect the contact grill with a wall socket.
3. Turn the thermostat (H) in the position desired position, e.g. 2 and the heat
indicator light (F) turns on. Let the contact grill to heat up. If the contact grill is
ready for use, the heat indicator light (F) turns off. The unit automatically
switches on and off during operation in order to hold the temperature, so the
heat indicator light turns on and off, too.
4. Brush some butter, margarine, fat or vegetable oil onto the heating plates (B)
before using them.
5. Prepare your sandwiches with the desired ingredients. To achieve a rich
golden colour, you can apply some butter to the side of the bread on which
the bread contacts the contact grill.
6. Place the sandwiches on the heating plates and fold the top housing down.
Press the heating plate on the bread. Open up the contact grill after heating it
for 2 - 3 minutes to check, if the sandwiches has turned to the golden colour
you wanted. Control the baking time according to your taste.
7. To avoid damaging the non-stick surface, do not use metallic or sharp tools
when removing food from the heating plates. Do not touch the housing but
only the heat-proof handles (G).
8. Always unplug the power plug to switch the unit off.
