5. Operation

Press **123456 to activate the command mode. The initial numeric code (factory setting) is
123456. All examples in this manual use 123456 as their numeric code. Enter #7 if you wish
to change the numeric code. Note that the operation of the keys is audible.
Remarks:
• Enter **123456 (or ** followed by your own numeric code) to enter the command mode. You will
hear two beeps in rapid succession and the green LED will flash momentarily. ALWAYS press # and
then #9 to exit the command mode. The green LED flashes for one second, the red LED starts to
flash and the device produces one short and long beep. You will have to start the procedure again if
you wait longer than 30 seconds before typing in the next command. Start over if the operation is
interrupted.
• In each of the door-opening modes, the facility code(s) should be entered before the access code.
Adding cards with the same facility code is possible without repeating the facility code over and over.
a. Command-mode
Press #9 to leave the command mode after each setting.
b. Programming the Facility Code
#81 enables you to programme the facility code. Enter the two-digit facility code (=XX). Confirm the
facility code with # and press #9 to leave this mode.
Example : Programme facility codes 22, 33 and 44.
The first card has the number 226890 : 22 is the facility code, 6890 is the access code.
Consequently, you should enter **#123456#8122##9 (**#123456 allows you to activate the
command mode, # confirms the code and #9 is necessary to leave the command mode after each
setting).
Enter **#123456#8133##9 and **#123456#8144##9 to programme facility codes 33 & 44.
c. Deleting the Facility Code
The procedure is the same as for programming the facility code. In this case, however, you have to enter
82 instead of 81.
Enter **123456#8205##9.
d. Programming the Door Open Duration
Press #6 (programming door open duration).
Enter the number of seconds the door should remain open (= TTT, programmable between 1 to 250
seconds). Example : Press #6008# to keep the door open for 8 seconds.
Conclusion : Press #6TTT# to set the "door open duration".
Programme the "door open duration" as soon as the facility code has been entered. Unless you wish to
change it, the "door open duration" only needs to be set once.
e. Programming the Alarm Output Duration
Press #5 (programming alarm output duration).
Enter the number of seconds the alarm should sound (= TTT, programmable between 1 to 250 seconds).
Example : Press #5038# to activate the alarm for 38 seconds.
Conclusion : Press #5TTT# to set the "alarm output duration".
