Troubleshooting
1. The player does not function.
- Verify the energy level of the battery. An AAA alkaline battery is necessary.
- Assure yourself that the battery is correctly inserted with respect to its polarity (+) and (-).
2. The buttons of the MP3 player do not function.
- Verify the configuration of the Hold (5) switch. None of the buttons will work if it is on.
3. The music will not play when I press the Play (2) button.
- Assure yourself of not having pressed the button twice, causing it to pause.
- Assure yourself that there are MP3/WMA files stored in the memory.
- Verify if the MP3 player is in the music mode.
- Assure yourself that the file system is FAT.
4. The MP3 Player automatically turns itself off.
- Verify the turn-off mode configuration (page 22)
5. MP3 files from the computer cannot be downloaded.
- Verify the USB connection between the PC and the player.
