Read the following security instructions carefully.
Intended use
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use decribed in these instructions.
• Do not operate outdoors.
• The appliance is not designed for commercial or industrial use; it is for household use only.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the milk frother.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) who are with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given super-
vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Power supply
• Operate appliance only through a professionally installed socket supplying the correct voltage.
• Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by manufacturer, or its service agent, or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• If you use a power cord, it must be in a good condition.
• Unplug the appliance after each use, or when the appliance is not in usebefore changing accessories or
cleaning the appliance.
• Never let main cable hang loose, nor remove plug with wet hands, nor lay or hang on hot surfaces, nor
let it come into contact with oils.
• Do not remove the plug with wet hands.
Technical safety
• Never touch rotating parts. Risk of injury!
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Do not operate without milk in the jug.
• By exceeding the filling capacity the jug may overflow.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
• Appliance to be used only in conjunction with the basic unit provided.
• Never operate damaged appliances.
Positioning
• Do not place near a source of heat which could cause damage.
• Do not place the appliance on a polished wood surface, it could damage the wood.
