Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning

Unplug from the mains before cleaning.

Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning
solvents or strong detergents.

We advise you to clean your records with an anti-static cloth (Velleman order code CPHN1 or CPHN2)
before and after use.

Keep the needle dust-free using a very soft brush dipped in cleaning alcohol.
Replacing the Needle
1. Release the tone arm and remove the protective needle cover.
2. Carefully separate the cartridge from the socket. Use a small flat-headed screwdriver if necessary.
3. Carefully disconnect the audio cables. Write down the connection diagram if desired.
4. Separate the needle from the cartridge and replace with a new one. Re-assemble proceeding in the
opposite order.
Storing

Store in a clean and dry area.
