Note: .Use alkaline batteries for longer usage, and lithium
batteries in temperatures below freezing.
Note: .Install the battery in the sensor before the main unit.
To .change .the .channels .once .a .channel .has .been .assigned
1. Slide the channel switch on the sensor to the desired
channel.
2. Press RESET on the sensor.
. Press RESET on the main unit.
Mounting .of .the .multi .sensor
The sensor is designed to be either free-standing or to be
mounted on the wall using the mounting plate, (see p. 27).
When the mounting plate is fixed, mount the sensor on the
hooks and slide down the sensor until a "click" is heard. For
changing the battery, release the bottom lock by pressing
the hook towards you (use a small and flat screwdriver to
handle the lock). Keep the lock in released position while
sliding the sensor upwards.
Note: The sensor is not to be mounted on metal frames.
Maintenance
The following guidelines will help you to take care of the
JACOB JENSEN Multi Sensor so that you can enjoy it for
TM
many years.

1. Use and store the sensor only under normal
temperatures. Temperature extremes can shorten the life
of electronic components, damage batteries and distort
or melt plastic parts.
2. Handle the sensor gently and with care. If it is dropped,
circuit boards can be damaged, resulting in malfunction.
. Keep the sensor free from dust and dirt, to avoid the
premature wear of parts.
4. Clean the sensor by wiping with a soft cloth. Do not
use aggressive chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong
detergents.
5. Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.
Always remove old or weak batteries as they might leak
chemicals that will destroy the product.
6. Modifying or tampering with the internal components
of the sensor may cause malfunction and will invalidate
the warranty.
