INFORMATION FOR THE SERVICE
THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS MUST BE CARRIED
OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY
OF OUR ICEMATIC DISTRIBUTOR (pict. nr. 2)
1) Check that the shut-off valve of the water supply is open,
then plug in the machine and switch on the electrical sup-
ply; the unit is now ready for automatic operation (pict. nr.
14) after having pushed the ON/OFF start button (pict. nr.
22).
2) Check that water reaches the pan, that the float stops
water inlet before overflow and that there are no water
leaks. The normal water level inside the pan must not ex-
ceed 5 10 mm. of its upper part. The water level can be
regulated rotating the microfloat in the slit of the relative
support after having unloosed the fixing screw "1" (pict. nr.
17). This operation must be done after having disconnec-
ted the electricity supply.
3) Check that there is no abnormal vibration due to loose
bolts and screws.
4) Observe safety practice, disconnect machine from electri-
city supply before rectifying water leaks or tightening
screws and bolts.
5) Check an ice production cycle ensuring that the cubes are
conveyed into the storage bin.
6) Check the thermostat by putting a cube in contact with the
thermostat bulb inside the storage bin; it must stop in 1 mi-
nute and it will automatically resume after having removed
it.
ATTENTION:
In the event that the icemaker is installed with altitude hi-
gher than 500 mt. from sea level, it is required a different
thermostat calibration, as due to barometric pressure de-
crease, it is less sensitive and therefore the icemaker con-
tinues to operate even if the storage bin is full. Access to
the thermostat is gained by removing the top of the wiring
case; tighten clockwise the regulating screw (pict. nr. 18).
As it is not possible to quantify the turns according to the al-
titude being them different for any thermostat, we suggest
regulation by checking if the ice cube in contact with the
thermostat bulb stops the ice maker within 1 minute.
7) Replace the top previously removed.
IMPORTANT
If the machine stops repeatedly after the manual reset, call
the technical support centre.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Observe safety practice: disconnect the machine from
electricity supply before cleaning and maintenance opera-
tions.
CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
To get the best use from your icemaking machine in terms of
efficiency and durability, you should clean the air filter located
on the front of the machine at weekly intervals (see fig. 22). To
remove the filter, simply pull it towards you (see fig. 22).
Wash the filter with a jet of lukewarm water and dry it before
refitting.
Do not use brushes or sharp instruments to clean the filter.
CLEANING OF THE WATER INLET FILTER
Close the shut-off valve of the water supply, disconnect the
water inlet pipe and remove the filter from its seat in the water
inlet electrovalve by a pair of pliers. Clean the filter under run-
ning water and reassemble.
CLEANING OF THE CABINET EXTERIOR
Clean using a clean cloth and warm water.
CLEANING OF THE STORAGE BIN
Remove the ice from the storage bin. Clean the interior with a
sponge wetted in warm water with a little sodium bicarbonate;
rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
CLEANING OF THE TILTING PAN AND
OF THE EVAPORATOR
Fill the tilting pan with a solution of water and citric acid (200
grs. of citric acid in one liter of water) and by means of a brush
clean the inside of the tilting pan and the evaporator fingers.
Tilt the pan so as to start the ice maker, rinse with clean water
in abundance and repeat cleaning three times.
Should the machine remain unused for long periods:
- disconnect the machine
- remove all the ice from the bin
- discharge all the water
- make an accurate cleaning
- let the bin door slightly open
WEEE Notice
inglese
The Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), which en-
tered into force as European law on 13th February 2003, resulted in a major
change in the treatment of electrical equipment at end-of-life.
The purpose of this Directive is, as a first priority, the prevention of WEEE, and
in addition, to promote the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of such
wastes so as to reduce disposal.
The WEEE logo on the product or on its box indicates that this
product must not be disposed of or dumped with your other
household waste. You are liable to dispose of ali your electronic
or electrical waste equipment by relocating over to the speci-
fied collection point for recycling of such hazardous waste. Iso-
lated collection and proper recovery of your electronic and
electrical waste equipment at the time of disposal will allow us
to help conserving natural resources. Moreover, proper recy-
cling of the electronic and electrical waste equipment will en-
sure safety of human health and environment. For more
information about electronic and electrical waste equipment
disposal, recovery, and collection points, please contact your
local city centre, household waste disposal service, shop from
where you purchased the equipment, or manufacturer of the
equipment.
