Fitting instructions

Before you install your BackPack ensure
the aerial is correctly fitted and secure
as shown in your R1 user guide.

Remove plastic tab to activate your
BackPack.

If the DC mains adapter is plugged
into your R1, remove it.

Position antenna as
shown.

Slide the BackPack
over the antenna and push
the BackPack plug into the
R1 socket (14V DC 1.5A).

Raise antenna.

Secure the BackPack
with the two screws
included in the set. Tighten
the screws using the Allen
key provided, taking care
not to overtighten.

Connect the mains
adapter to the DC socket
in the BackPack.
Please read this manual carefully before using your R1 BackPack and retain for future reference.
