Zuordnung Lichtausgänge
Die Platine erlaubt alle LEDs einzeln anzusteu-
ern. F0 vorne hinten ist an die weißen LEDs konfi-
guriert. FA1 FA2 des Next18 Steckers führen zu
den roten LEDs.
FA3/4 stehen bei Nichtsounddecodern für
Innenbeleuchtung oder Entkuppler zur Verfü-
gung—Achtung nur Logik Pegel! Weiters sind
die SUSI Anschlüsse an Lötpads verfügbar. Man-
che Decoder bieten hier Logikpegel Funktions-
ausgänge als Alternative an. Ab Platinen Versi-
on 1.40 sind Treibertransistoren vorgesehen.
Die Platinen Oberseite bietet 2 Lötpads mit
Plus Potential.
CV Einstellungen
Für ZIMO Decoder werden folgende Einstel-
lungen vorgeschlagen:
CV33/34=1 / 2 .......................... Standard weiß v/h
CV35=3 ............................... Rangierfahrt weiß v/h
CV36=12 ............................................. rot beide ein
CV127=2 ............................ rot richtungsabhängig
CV128=1 ............................. rot richtungsabhängig
Für klassisches Fernlicht via Dimmen:
CV60=30 ............................................. Abblendlicht
CV114=252 ............... nur weiß Fern/Abblendlicht
CV119=131 ............................................. F6 Fernlicht
Schaltung
Die LEDs werden über eine Stromquellen
Schaltung betrieben. Durch verändern des
Widerstandswerts kann die Helligkeit verändert
werden. Ein Kurzschluss der Widerstände führt zu
einer Stromquelle mit etwa 10mA, Standardein-
stellung etwa 3mA bei weiß und 900µA für die
roten LEDs.

Assignment of Light Outputs
The board offers individual control of every
light output. F0 front and rear are wired to the
white LEDs. FA1 and FA2 go the red LEDs.
FA3/4 are available on non sound decoders
for cab light or decoupler—attention only logic
level! Additionally the SUSI Pins are available on
soldering pads. Some decoder vendors offer
function outputs on these pins alternatively.
Starting with board revision 1.40 driver transistors
are installed.
The top side of the board offers two soldering
pads with plus signal.
CV Values
For ZIMO Decoders the following CV values
are recommended:
CV33/34=1/2 .............................. standard white f/r
CV35=3 ................................ shunting light white f/r
CV36=12 ..................................................... both red
CV127=2 .......................................... red directional
CV128=1 .......................................... red directional
For classic high beam via dimming:
CV60=30 ................................................... low beam
CV114=252 ........... only white should be dimmed
CV119=131 ........................................ F6 high beam
Circuit
The LEDs are driven through a current source.
By modifying the resistor the brightness can be
changed. A shortcut of the resistor leads to a
maximum current of roughly 10mA, default
current on the board is about 3mA and about
900µA for the red LEDs.

Sounddecoder
Auf der Platine befinden sich 2(4) Lötpunkte
(SP) um den Lautsprecher anzuschließen. Von
diesen laufen die Lautsprecher Drähte nach
unten Richtung Dieseltank.
Ballastgewicht
Im Dieseltank, dort wo bei moderneren
Modellvarianten
von
untergebracht wurde wird ein zusätzliches
Ballastgewicht eingesetzt. Dieses erhöht das
Reibungsgewicht etwas und dient gleichzeitig
als
Resonanzkörper
Mobiltelefonlautsprecher.
Konfigurationsvarianten
Wenn die Fahrtrichtung des Modells nicht
stimmt dann bitte Motor umdrehen oder über
CV29 + 1 per SW umdrehen. Je nach Decoder
Hersteller
sind
auch
„umzudrehen" das geschieht am einfachsten

Montage und Hinweise
Das Öffnen des Modells erfolgt durch Abhe-
ben des Führerstand Dachs. Dann mit einem
Schraubendreher die Wände des Führerhauses
etwas nach außen spreizen um eine Rastnase
zu lösen. Danach kann das Führerhaus abgeho-
ben werden. Unter der Führerstands-Einrichtung
befinden sich 2 Schrauben die das Gehäuse
festhalten. Jetzt gelangen Sie zur Platine
Bei manchen moderneren Varianten ist im
Gehäuse oberhalb des Decoders ein Steg, der
muß entfernt werden um das Gehäuse schlie-
ßen zu können.
Das rote Licht strahlt bei manchen Modellen
in die weißen Scheinwerfer. Das Übersprechen
kann man durch einlegen von dunklem Papier
zwischen die Lichtleiter weitgehend beseitigen.
Bei einigen Rahmenformen ist ein Isolieren der
Platine gegen den Rahmen erforderlich. Legen
Sie einfach ein Blatt Papier unter.

Sound Decoder
On the PCB there are 2(4) soldering pads
marked (SP) to connect the speaker. From here
the speaker wires run down to the fuel tank.
Ballast Weight
Inside the fuel tank, more recent models use
Roco

that space for the decoder, there is space for
additional ballast weight. This increases the
friction of the model. Additionally that weight is
used as resonator for a mobile phone speaker

Configuration Variants
If the driving direction is incorrect just turn
around the motor. An alternative is to add 1 to
CV29. Depending in the decoder vendor you

Mounting and Hints
To open the body just pull off the cab roof,
gently squeeze the side to release it. Next push
the side walls of the cab with a screw driver a
bit outside, just to release a snap on the side.
Next you can pull up the cab case. After re-
moving the engineer 2 screws become visible
which secure the loco body to the frame. N o w
you have access to the circuit board.
Some modern models have a nose right
above the new decoder. You need to remove
that part to close the loco case.
On some models the red light is visible in the
white beams. To reduce the crosstalk just insert
a dark peace of paper between the light bars.
Some frames have contact to the bottom
side of the board. Install a insulating sheet un-
derneath the board.
