Sicherheitshinweise
Bitte behandeln Sie die Platine sorgfältig. Es ist
kein Spielzeug für kleine Kinder. Achten Sie auf
mögliche Kurzschlüsse gegen Lok-Chassis, be-
sonders bei den Motorfahnen, um Schäden an
Decodern zu vermeiden
Achten Sie auf eine ausreichende Span-
nungsfestigkeit des Decoders! Next18 wurde für
N-Spur entworfen, daher halten nicht alle Deco-
der Spannungen über 18V stand.
Fehlerbehebung
Kein Licht Lok fährt nicht
Prüfen Sie bitte die Lötverbindung von den
Drehgestellen zur Platine. Ist der Decoder or-
dentlich eingesetzt, ist er eingerastet?
Lok fährt verkehrt herum
Drehen Sie den Motor um. Mit CV29+1 kann
auch die Richtung umgekehrt werden.
Rot ist nicht richtungsabhängig
Alle Decoder müssen für solche Lichtfunktio-
nen programmiert werden. Setzen Sie die ent-
sprechenden CVs

Security Advices
Please handle this board with care. It is not a
toy for little children! Check for shortcuts against
the loco body, especially at the motor con-
tacts, this might damage the decoder immedi-
ately.
Pls. check your decoder for allowed track
voltage. Next18 was designed for N scale and
moderate track voltage. Not all decoders can
handle voltages above 18V!
Error Handling
Loco does not move no light
Check the soldering connection from the
bogies to the board. Is the decoder correctly
installed, it should snap into the socket.
Loco drives in wrong direction
Turn the motor upside down. With CV29+1 the
decoder reverses the direction.
Red light is not directional
All decoders require application specific
programming. Please set the required CV val-
ues.

Next18 ermöglicht. Der Umrüstsatz richtet sich
sowohl an Analog als auch Digitalbahner. Der
Umbau ist unkompliziert, es werden nur Schrau-
bendreher und Lötkolben zum Umlöten der
vorhandenen Drähte benötigt. Es sind keine
Fräsarbeiten am Rahmen beim Umbau nötig.

Anpassung der Motorfahnen
Die mitgelieferten Motorfahnen sind nicht auf
der Platine verlötet um einen günstigen Versand
zu ermöglichen. Die Motorfahnen werden
seitlich angesetzt und auf die großem
Lötpads oben und unten verlötet. Das
sorgt für eine belastbare Verbindung zur
Platine.

Congratulations for acquiring PluX V100 re-
placement board. This board is designed to
offer more capabilities for class V100 west,
BR211, BR212, BR213, and 2048 models to drive
p r o t o t y p e

over every light.
The enhanced fea-
tures are possible by using
the Next18 interface. This kit
addresses analog as well as digital
model railroaders. The installation is easy no
special tools are required just a screw driver and
a soldering iron to reconnect the pickup wires.
There is no milling required to install the parts.

Light Management

White and red light is operated individually

Current sources for LEDs are used to stabilize bright-
ness, this works also in analog mode i.e. stabile
brightness independent of speed

High and low beam via dimming

2 driver transistors for decoupler (V1,40 and later)
Adjusting the Motor Contacts
The supplied motor contacts are not mounted
on the board to allow cheaper shipping
costs. The contacts are attached on the
side soldering pads and soldered on
both sides of the board. This ensures a
resilient connection which can pic up the
force.
