3. Instructions to set the clock
Your clock is fi tted with a Hourly chime movement with an automatic night silence
function, which silences the chimes between 10pm and 5am.
Last strike 9pm, fi rst strike 6am.

Step 1
Turn clock hands to 6.30am by using the 'Time set knob' and ensuring the hands move clockwise only.
Step 2
Slide the Chime ON/OFF switch to ON position and insert 2 x C batteries into the chime battery compartment A.
Step 3
Insert 1 x AA battery into the clock battery compartment B.
Step 4
Insert 2 x AA batteries into the pendulum battery compartment C.
Step 5
Press the 'Reset' button once and the Cuckoo will cuckoo 6 times for 6am.
Step 6
Now set the hands to the current time by using the 'Time set knob'. As you move through the hours the clock will
try to cuckoo, you do not need to listen to the sequence, therefore you can carry on setting the time.
Step 7 : replacing the batteries
It is recommended that you replace the batteries annually even if the product is still running. Only use : 2 X C
(1.5V) and 3 x AA (1.5V) Alkaline batteries in this clock. Remove the batteries if the clock is stored or not in use.
