: Dimming can also be activated based on battery SOC/LVD. If the
battery voltage falls below the value, the dimming function is activated.
Night Detection Function
Night detection is used to set the night detection voltage. For the
controller, dusk starts when the panel voltage falls to this value. Dawn
starts when voltage rises to the day detection voltage, which equals
night detection + 1.5 V. To find the appropriate value, we recommend
measuring the solar array open circuit voltage at the time when twilight
has reached the level when the controller should assume night has begun.
CIS factory default is 8 V.
CIS-CU-LCD Working Range
The CIS-CU-LCD can operate at up to 8 m distance from the CIS
provided you are positioned and the CIS-CU-LCD is pointed directly in
front of the CIS unit. If you would like to configure more than one CIS,
make sure to have visual proximity/contact to only one CIS unit at a
time. To assure this, keep a minimum angle and distance to the others as
shown below.

Load 1: Dual timer (Load on till 4 hours to middle of night, from 3 hours after
middle of night), LVD: 11.4 V.
Load 2: Standard controller, LVD: 11.9 V.
Battery type: flooded, night detection: 5.5 V, reconnect voltage: 12.5 V

Press "+" or "-". Adjust its value to 5.5 V,

When icon 10 "Evening" is on, press "+"
or "-". Adjust its value to 4 h, then press
"OK" to confirm.
Press the key again. When icon 11
"Morning" is on, press "+" or "-" to
adjust its value to 3h, then press "OK"
to confirm.
Setup timer mode is based on middle
of night.
Select load 2
Select LVD mode, and press "+" or "-".
Change its value to 11.9 V, then press
"OK" to confirm.
When icon 10 "Evening" is on, press "+"
or "-". Adjust its value to "OFF", then
press "OK" to confirm.
Press the key again. When icon 11
"Morning" is on, press "+" or "-". Adjust
its value to "OFF", then press "OK" to
confirm.
Now timer mode is based on dusk &
dawn.
If both evening time and morning time
are set to "OFF", timer mode is set to
D2D and cannot be adjusted!
Transmit all settings to the controller.
When transmitting, icon 3 "Transmit"
flashes. If the transmission was successful,
icon 2 "OK" flashes 5 times. If an error
occurred, icon 1 "ERROR" is displayed.
