Application Field
The ecom-UNO-CO is suitable for the
measurement of carbon monoxide
concentrations in ambient air.
Carbon monoxide
is poisinous and
can be fatal
!
The operation range allows the
measurement of concentrations from
0 to 1000 ppm. Please always observe the
valid safety regulations (e.g. MAK value)!
The unit is not suitable for
personal safety use!
Accu charging
Both 1,5 V AA (Mignon) accus must be
recharged when the display indication
blinks (no point anymore:
Recharge as follows:
- Connect adaptor cable
with car cigarette
lighter.
- Connect adaptor cable
with charging socket of
ecom-UNO-CO.
Hand over defect or
used accus to
designed collection
places only!
- During the charging procedure an arrow
shows on the field „Charge".
- The accus are recharged in full when
the arrow has disappeared.

Select Operation Mode
The ecom-UNO-CO can be operated in
2 different modes:
).
Standard
The unit automatically switches off after
ca. 30 minutes.
Continue
The unit doesn´t switch off automatically.
The operation mode can be checked/
selected as follows:
- The unit being switched-off, press the
CAL key until the display shows „S" =
Standard or „C" = Continue.
- Press either the BEEP key or the CO
max key to switch the operation mode.
- Press the CAL key to perform
measurement in the selected mode.

Switch on Instrument
Switch on the
instrument by fresh air
ambient conditions!
- Press the CAL Key.
- The ecom-UNO-CO starts a calibration
phase of max. 1 minute (0 blinks on the
display).
- After completion, the unit sets its zero
point at the CO concentration in the
ambient air is ready for operation.

Signal Function
The unit warns by exceeding of a 50 ppm
CO concentration with a beep tone.
If the CO concentration increases, the
repeating frequency of the beep tone
gets shorter by each signal threshold
(see „Technical Data"). By values over
1000 pmm, only dashes are displayed.
Switch-off Signal Function
Press the BEEP key to switch off the
beep tone. It automatically switches on
again after 15 minutes or by a CO
concentration lower than 20 ppm.
COmax Function
Press the COmax key to call up the
highest value detected since the
instrument switch-on.

Continuous pressing of CO max. key
deletes the maximal value.
Re-set zero point
- Keep pressing CAL key until the beep
tone gets audible.
Re-set the zero point
by fresh air ambient
Segment test
is performed
Switch off instrument
In Standard mode press the CAL key to
switch off.
In Continue mode press both the BEEP
and the CO max. key.
