Quick Operation with the Joystick
With the device switched on, pull the joystick to the left for three seconds to switch between Novice Mode
and Advanced Mode.
1. Novice Mode
In Novice Mode you can change the wattage. Press the joystick one time so the wattage is displayed in
red. You can increase or reduce the wattage by pressing the joystick up or down. Confirm your setting by
pressing the fire button.
2. Advanced Mode (Powerful)
a) Press the joystick one time to adjust the output, Joules, temperature, and winding material. The
parameters displayed in red can be increased or decreased by pressing the joystick up or down. When the
temperature is displayed in red, you can switch the temperature units between degrees Fahrenheit and
degrees Celsius by moving the joystick to the left or right.
