Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt ist zur Montage auf einer Grafikkarte vorgesehen und dient dort zur Kühlung.
Alle enthaltenen Firmennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzeichen der jeweiligen
Inhaber. Alle Rechte vorbehalten.

Veränderungen an der Grafikkarte können dazu führen, dass Sie Garantie- und Gewährlei-
stungsansprüche verlieren. Bitte bedenken Sie dies vor der Montage des VGA-Kühlers.

Merkmale
• Vorgesehen zur Montage auf einer Grafikkarte vom Typ „NVidia 6800" bzw. „NVidia 7800".
• Sehr leiser Betrieb durch spezielle Bauform
Einbau
Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau besitzen, so lassen Sie den Einbau von
einer FACHKRAFT oder einer entsprechenden Fachwerkstatt durchführen!
Durch unsachgemäßen Einbau wird sowohl das Produkt als auch die Grafikkarte und
der Computer beschädigt.
Vorsicht, Lebensgefahr!
Schalten Sie den Computer, in den das Produkt eingebaut werden soll und alle
angeschlossenen Geräte aus und trennen Sie alle Geräte von der Netzspannung,
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker! Das Ausschalten über den Ein-/Ausschalter genügt
nicht!
• Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers, nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel vorsichtig ab.
• Bauen Sie ggf. die Grafikkarte aus dem Computer aus.
• Ziehen Sie den Stromstecker des Lüfters auf
der Grafikkarte vorsichtig heraus. Manche
Stecker sind fest eingerastet, nehmen Sie
eine Spitzzange oder eine Nadel zu Hilfe, um
den Widerhaken des Steckers zu lösen.
• Enfernen Sie vorsichtig den vorhandenen
Kühlkörper/Lüfter.
a) Karte mit passivem Speicherkühler auf
der Rückseite
Entfernen Sie auf der Vorderseite den
Kunststoffdeckel. Auf der Rückseite demon-
tieren Sie den Speicherkühler durch Lösen der
Schrauben 5-9 und den Lüfter durch Entfer-
nen der Schrauben a, b und c.
Danach lösen Sie auf der Vorderseite die 4
Schrauben in der Mitte des Kühlkörpers, um
diesen abzunehmen.
b) Karte ohne passiven Speicherkühler auf
der Rückseite
Um den Standardkühler von der Karte zu
entfernen, lösen Sie die Schrauben 1-9 auf der
Rückseite.
• Reinigen Sie die Oberfläche des Grafik-
prozessors und der Speicherchips sehr sorg-
fältig von den Resten der Wärmeleitpaste.
Ideal geeignet sind weiche Papiertaschentü-
cher.
Kratzen Sie die Wärmeleitpaste niemals mit
harten Gegenständen ab; verschmieren Sie
sie nicht auf der Platine. Gehen Sie sehr
vorsichtig vor.
Bringen Sie die Wärmeleitpaste nicht auf die Haut, und niemals in Augen oder Mund! Gefahr
für Ihre Gesundheit!
• Nehmen Sie die Kunststoffkappe vom Kühlkörper ab; ziehen Sie die Schutzfolie von jedem Wärmeleitpad
ab.
Wird dies nicht beachtet, überhitzt der Grafikprozessor bzw. der Speicher, die Grafikkarte
wird zerstört!
• Legen Sie den Kühler kopfüber auf den Tisch. Beachten Sie das Stromkabel, damit der Stecker später
am richtigen Ort liegt, um auf die Karte gesteckt zu werden.
Legen Sie die Grafikkarte so auf den Kühlkörper, dass die Muttern des Kühlkörpers genau auf die 9
Montagelöcher der Grafikkarte passen.
Verwenden Sie zwischen Schraube und Grafikkarte einen Kunststoffring.
Installieren Sie zuerst die Schrauben 2, 4, 1 und
3 (genau diese Reihenfolge einhalten), bis sie
leicht festgedreht sind.
• Nur bei Grafikkarte mit Speicher auf der Rück-
seite

Entnehmen Sie die Wärmeleitpads vom Papier,
kleben Sie diese auf die Speicher der Grafik-
kartenrückseite und ziehen die Schutzfolie ab.
Verwenden Sie ggf. ein scharfes, spitzes Mes-
ser, um die Schutzfolie am Rand abzuheben.
Legen Sie den passiven Speicherkühler so auf die
Wärmeleitpads, dass er an den Montagelöchern
der Grafikkarte ausgerichtet ist.
• Karte mit Speicher auf der Rückseite:
Drehen Sie die 8mm (!) langen Senkkopf-
schrauben 5-9 nacheinander abwechselnd und
gleichmäßig jeweils um eine halbe Umdrehung
fest.
Danach drehen Sie die Schrauben 1-4 fest. Wen-
den Sie jedoch keine Gewalt an.
• Karte ohne Speicher auf der Rückseite:
Drehen Sie die 6mm (!) langen Senkkopf-
schrauben 5-9 mit Kunststoffunterlegscheibe
nacheinander abwechselnd und gleichmäßig je-
weils um eine halbe Umdrehung fest.
Danach drehen Sie die Schrauben 1-4 fest. Wen-
den Sie jedoch keine Gewalt an.

Die Schrauben müssen fest angezo-
gen werden, wenden Sie aber keine
Gewalt an. Der Kühlkörper muss fest
auf dem Grafikprozessor und den
Speichern sitzen, es darf kein Spalt
dazwischen sein.
• Verbinden Sie den Stromstecker des Lüfters mit
dem Stromanschluss auf der Grafikkarte.
• Kontrollieren Sie nochmals die richtige Montage des Kühlers auf der Grafikkarte.
• Bauen Sie die Grafikkarte in Ihren Computer ein.
• Falls die Grafikkarte einen Stromanschluss für das Computernetzteil besitzt, verbinden Sie sie wieder mit
dem entsprechenden Stecker.
• Verlegen Sie alle Kabel so, dass sie nicht in einen Lüfter gelangen können, verwenden Sie
• Verschließen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers.
• Verbinden Sie Ihren Computer und Monitor mit allen Verbindungskabeln und der Netzspannung. Schalten
Sie alle Geräte ein.
• Startet Ihr Computer nicht korrekt, so schalten Sie ihn sofort aus und kontrollieren Sie sämtliche
Einstellungen und Kabelverbindungen.
Vor dem erneuten Öffnen des Computers ist dieser von der Netzspannung zu trennen,
siehe oben! Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker!
Transport des Computers
Durch das hohe Gewicht des Kühlers in Verbindung mit der Grafikkarte kann es beim Transport zu
Problemen kommen.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen, den Computer so zu transportieren (z.B. im Auto), dass das Mainboard unten liegt.
Dadurch wird verhindert, dass sich die Grafikkarte mit dem Kühler aus dem Steckplatz des Mainboards löst.
Gleiches gilt für den CPU-Kühlkörper.
Entsorgung

Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen.

Prescribed Use
The product is to be installed on a graphics card and is meant for cooling.
All company names and product designations contained herein are trademarks of the respective
owners. All rights are reserved.

Changes on the graphics card can have the effect that your guarantee expires and you lose
your warranty. Please bear this in mind before installing the VGA cooler.

Installation
When in doubt about how to install the device correctly, please contact an EXPERT
or a specialist workshop and let them carry out the installation!
In the case of improper installation, the product as well as your graphics card and the
computer will get damaged.
Attention! Lethal danger!
Switch off the computer in which the product is to be installed and all connected
devices and separate all devices from the mains voltage, pull the mains plug!
Switching the device off via the ON/OFF switch is not sufficient!
• Open the case of your computer and carefully take the case cover off.
• If necessary remove the graphics card from the computer.
• Carefully pull out the power plug from the fan
on the graphics card. Some plugs are securely
locked into place, take long-nosed pliers or a
needle to loosen the barb on the plug.
• Carefully remove the existing cooler/fan.
a) Card with passive memory cooler on the
back
Remove the plastic cover on the front.
Dismantle the memory cooler on the back by
loosening the screws 5-9 and the fan by
removing screws a, b and c.
Afterwards loosen the 4 screws on the front in
the middle of the cooler, to be able to take it off.
b) Card without passive memory cooler on
the back
To remove the standard cooler from the card,
loosen screws 1-9 on the back.
• Clean the surface of the graphic processor
and the memory chip very carefully from the
residues of the heat transfer compound. Soft
paper tissues are ideal.
Never scratch off the heat transfer compound
with hard objects; do not smear it on the circuit
board. Do it very carefully.
Do not get the heat transfer compound on the skin and never in eyes or mouth! Danger for
your heath!
• Take the plastic cap off the cooler; pull the protective film off each heat transfer pad.
If you do not do this, the graphic processor and/or the memory will overheat and the graphics
card will get destroyed!
• Place the cooler head-down on the table. Note the power cable so that the plug is later in the right place
to be inserted on the card.
Put the graphics card in a way on the cooler that the nuts of the cooler fit exactly onto the 9 installation
holes of the graphics card.
Use a plastic washer between screw and graphics card.

First of all install screws 2, 4, 1 and 3 (stick to
w w w. c o n r a d . c o m exactly this sequence), until they are lightly
screwed in.
• Only for graphics card with memory on the
Version 05/06 back
 Take the heat transfer compound from the paper,
stick them on the memories on the back of the
graphics card and peel the protective film off.
If necessary use a sharp, pointy knife to take off
the protective film from the edge.
Place the passive memory cooler on the heat
transfer pads in a way that it is oriented to the
installation holes on the graphics card.
• Card with memory on the back:
Tighten the 8mm (!) long counter-sunk screws 5-
9 consecutively, alternately and evenly by half a
turn each.
Afterwards tighten screws 1-4. However, do not
use any force.
• Card without memory on the back:
Tighten the 6mm (!) long counter-sunk screws 5-
9 with plastic washer consecutively, alternately
and evenly by half a turn each.
Afterwards tighten screws 1-4. However, do not
use any force.

The screws have to be fastened
tightly, but do not use any force. The
cooler has to be positioned tightly on
the graphic processor and the
memories, there must not be a gap
between them.
• Connect the power plug of the fan with the power
connection on the graphics card.
• Recheck the installation of the cooler on the graphics card.
• Install the graphics card in your computer.
• If the graphics card has a power connection for the mains unit of the computer, reconnect it with the
respective plug.
• Lay all cables in a way that they cannot get into a fan (use cable fasteners).
• Close the computer case.
• Connect your computer and monitor with all connecting cables and with the mains voltage. Turn all devices
on.
• If your computer does not start correctly, switch it off straight away and control all settings and cable
connections.
Before you open the computer again, it needs to be separated from the mains voltage,
see above! Pull the mains plug!
Transport of computer
Due to the heavy weight of the cooler together with the graphics card, there may be problems during transport.
We recommend to transport the computer in a way (eg car) that the mainboard is on the bottom. This prevents
the graphics card and the fan to loosen from the plug-in position of the mainboard. The same is the case for
the CPU cooler.
Disposal

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with the valid legal
regulations.
