LED effect light torch

Intended use
This product serves as an effect light mobile lamp. Constantly changing light effect is created
by three coloured LEDs (red, green, blue) and a diffusing lens driven by an electric motor. A
white LED is also integrated to enable conventional torch function.
Operation is via 3 batteries of the type AAA/Micro (included in delivery).
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating
instructions. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand over these operating
instructions as well.

• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not permitted
for safety and approval reasons (CE).

vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• The product must not get damp or wet. Protect the product from cold, heat, direct
sunlight, dust, dirt and moisture.
• Caution, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the
beam directly or with optical instruments! Danger of damage to eyes!
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around. It may become a danger-
ous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
falls, even from a low height.
• If you see any damage, do not use the product any more, but take it to a special-
ised workshop or dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.
• If in doubt about how to operate the device correctly, or should any questions arise
that are not answered in these operating instructions, please contact us or another

• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries lying around in the open. There is a

risk of batteries being swallowed by children or pets. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor
immediately.
• Replace flat, non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries in good time since flat or old non-
rechargeable/rechargeable batteries can leak.
• Acid contact due to leaking or damaged non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries can burn
your skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves.
• Liquids leaking from non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggres-
sive. Objects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids could be considerably dam-
aged. Thus, store non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries in a suitable location.
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire.
There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge standard, non-rechargeable batteries; there is a risk of explosion!
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries
(pay attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• Always replace the complete set of non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries. Do not mix
non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries with different charges (flat and half-discharged non-
rechargeable/rechargeable batteries).
• Use either 3 non-rechargeable or 3 rechargeable batteries; never mix standard batteries
with rechargeable batteries. Use only non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries of the same
model and type and from the same manufacturer.
Inserting the non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries
• Slide the ribbed handle part backward and remove it.
• Insert three equivalent batteries (or rechargeable batteries) of AAA/micro type into the sup-
plied battery holder observing the polarity. The proper polarity is indicated (coil springs in the
battery holder are the minus pole).
• Plug the battery holder into the torch observing the correct polarity. The springy metal tips are
the plus pole and must point in the direction of the LEDs.
• Close the torch again.

Operation

a) Switching on/off
Use the sliding switch to select between 3 different functions.
• Middle position: The torch is turned off.
• Sliding switch is slid backward: The white LED for torch function is active.
• Sliding switch is slid forward: RGB-LEDs are on and the motor starts driving the diffusing
lens.
b) Placing or suspending of the torch
• The torch may be placed onto even horizontal surface using both small support legs perma-
nently integrated in the housing, so that it cannot roll.
• The torch may be suspended for example on a ceiling hook using the wrist strap (if it is
enclosed separately, you can attach it through a hole at the handle end).
• There is a tripod socket approximately in the centre of the torch. It may be used to fix the torch
onto various tripods or holders.
Operation via rechargeable batteries is possible. However, the operating time may
be less due to the lower voltage output in comparison to disposable batteries (re-
chargeable battery = 1.2 V, disposable battery = 1.5 V).
Never try to hold the motor drive; do not hold firmly the diffusing lens.
If the motor drive does not start, turn the diffusing lens a bit clockwise.
