Intended use
This battery pack with charging option via a free USB port on the XBOX 360 Console
matches the original XBOX 360 Controller.
The supplied battery pack is only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and
involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instruction must
be followed at all times. No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
Explanation of the Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger
of electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during hand-
ling, operation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to
observe these safety instructions! Liability for any and all consequential
damage is excluded!
We do not assume any liability for personal injury or damage to pro-
perty caused by incorrect handling or non-observance of the safety
instructions. The warranty will be void in such cases.
• The battery pack must not be modified or converted, as not only will
the CE approval become void but also the warranty.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare hands.
Use protective gloves.
• The battery pack should not be exposed to extreme temperatures,
direct sunlight, intense vibrations, damp or heavy mechanical
stress.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the battery pack requires some
time to adjust to the ambient temperature.
• The system components, in particular the supplied battery pack, are
not toys and should be kept out of the reach of children!
Recommended age: from 8 years!
• Please contact qualified personnel if you are unsure about the
safety or the correct use of the product.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic
film/bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children; there is a
risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation (that is, the battery
pack) is no longer possible, disconnect the device immediately and
secure it against inadvertent use.
• It can be assumed that safe use (i.e. the supplied battery pack) is no
longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- the device has been stored under unfavourable conditions for a
long period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial and industrial facilities the regulations for the
prevention of accidents as laid down by the professional trade
association for electrical equipment and devices must be observed
(this concerns the supplied battery pack).
• The battery pack is only intended for dry indoor locations.
• Ensure that there are no sources of magnetic or electromagnetic
fields or heat sources in the vicinity of the battery pack.
• Do not expose the battery pack to anymechanical stress. Falls from
low heights and pressure can damage the device.
• Never pour fluids above electrical devices.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a
qualified specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• In case you have questions which are not answered in this manual,
please contact our technical service or other specialists.

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries

(pay attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed
by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause acid burns, if they
come in contact with the skin, therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
• Make sure that the batteries/accumulators are not short-circuited, taken to pieces or
thrown into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. Explosionrisk! Only charge rechargeable
batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the batteries or
rechargeable batteries. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the product,
which will lead to the loss of the warranty/guarantee!
• For environment friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please
read the chapter „Disposal".
Description of the Package Contents
Battery set & USB charger cable
The battery pack and the USB charger cable optimally supply your XBOX 360
Controller with power. The extra long approx. 140 cm USB cable ensures easy and
rapid charging, so the batteries can keep going just as long as you do. The charging
time with USB (5V) is approx. 5 hours (depending on the remaining capacity of the
batteries).
Maintenance and Cleaning
The battery pack does not contain any parts that require maintenance. Therefore,
never open the battery pack.
To clean the battery pack, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Disposal

As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
batteries/rechargeable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is pro-
hibited!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the
environment!
The charging time of the batteries is approx. 6 hours for initial charging.
To this end, connect the battery pack to your XBOX 360 Console, using the
supplied USB connecting cable.
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these
symbols to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The
designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg =
Mercury, Pb = Lead.
Used batteries, rechargeable batteries as well as coin cells can be returned
to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cells are sold!
