To charge battery pack before first use, open the
charge port over and insert a micro-USB cord.
Princeton Tec suggests a charger with output of 5V,
1A. This charger will fully charge the battery pack
in 6 hours. Faster charging will be achieved when
a charger rated for higher amperage is used. Some
computer USB ports may not have sufficient output
charge this or any USB rechargeable product. Under
normal usage, the supplied lithium ion battery pack
will last for at least 1,000 charge / discharge cycles.
Remix Rechargeable is designed to accept three AAA
batteries in situations where the Li-Ion pack cannot be
recharged. To install AAA batteries, slide the headstrap
to allow access to the battery door. Open the battery
door, starting with the tab and working your way around
the battery housing. Remove and gently unplug the
Li-Ion battery, then set it aside. Install 3 AAA batteries
in the housing, observing proper polarilty. Improper
installation of the batteries will damage the light and
void the warranty. Reinstall the battery door carefully,
ensuring a complete seal to keep out contaminants like
moisture or dirt.
GENERAL CARE AND WARNINGS
• Disconnect battery pack, or remove any AAA
batteries if installed, during long periods of storage.
• Properly charge the battery to maximize its lifespan.
Lithium ion batteries do not suffer from a "memory
effect, " and for battery longevity it is preferable to
charge more frequently if possible, rather than to
fully deplete the battery's charge.
• To avoid damaging your lighting system, use only
chargers that meet the approved specifications.
• Although Remix Rechargeable is designed for use
in wet weather conditions, it is not submersible.
Submerging it in water will damage the system and
void the warranty.
• To keep your lighting system looking new, use a
mild soap and water solution with a rag or sponge
to periodically wipe off dirt.
• Never submerge the light, battery pack or cables
in water.
• Never mix fresh and used batteries.
• Never mix different battery brands or chemistry
types.
• Always remove drained batteries immediately.
• Remove batteries during long periods of storage.

Remix Rechargeable has two main light sources
to choose from, three Ultrabright LEDs or a
Maxbright LED. Each light source is dimmable.
Remix Rechargeble also features rear flashing LEDs,
designed to increase visibility and safety.
Single Press of the power button turns the headlamp
on or off.
Double Press of the power button switches between
light sources.
Press and hold of the power button engages the
dimming function for the current light source. Simply
release when you get to the desired level. Ultrabright

Princeton Tec calculates total burn time as the time it takes for the light source to produce a minimum of 0.25 lux at 2 meters.

LEDs start on low and scroll up in intensity when
button is held; Maxbright LED starts on high and scrolls
down in intensity.
Rear flasher is activated or deactivated when the
headlamp is off.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The rear
flasher LEDs will "scroll" 1, 2, 3 and then flash in unison
to confirm that they are activated. Conversely, holding
the button again for 5 seconds will result in a flash, then
"scroll" 3, 2, 1 to confirm that the flasher is deactivated.
Battery Power Meter
Battery charge level indicator uses rear flasher LEDs
to indicate battery state, and glows during charging.
Charge level is indicated by 1, 2 or 3 bars, representing
roughly 60%,75% and 90% charge states. All three
bars will glow solid at 100% charge, then shut down.
When Remix Rechargeable is shut down after use, the
battery indicator will show charge status for 5 seconds.
Additionally, any triple click for lock or unlock will cause
the battery indicator to show charge status for 5 seconds.
Battery charge level indicator is only operational when
Li-Ion battery is installed.
Remix Rechargeable will not function with rechargeable
and AAA cells installed simultaneously.
Power Consumption
Refer to the burn time chart for performance data for
different mode settings.
The times listed in this chart assume you start with
fresh batteries and use only one mode.
Troubleshooting
If the Remix fails to light:
• Check the batteries for proper installation.
• Replace batteries if proper installation is confirmed.
• Check the light for water contamination on the circuit
board. The light will resume normal operation once the
water is shaken or blown out and the light is
left open until completely dry. If the light has been
contaminated with salt water, flush the unit with fresh
water and dry as described above.

USA– International 1-Year Warranty
WARRANTY – Princeton Tec warrants this product to
be free from defects in workmanship and materials
under normal use for 1 year. This warranty covers
all of the component parts of the product except
rechargeable battery, which is covered for 90 days.
This warranty does not cover deterioration due to
normal wear or damage due to misuse, alteration,
negligence, accidents, or unauthorized repair.
Princeton Tec will repair or replace parts which
are defective in workmanship or materials. Your
authorized Princeton Tec Dealer and Princeton Tec are
the only facilities authorized to repair the product.
After (3) unsuccessful attempts (within the warranty
period) to repair the product, you have the right to
elect replacement of the product or a refund of the
purchase price less allowance for use of the product.
NO INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
ARE INCLUDED IN THIS WARRANTY. (Some states
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages, so the above limitations or
exclusions may not apply to you.) This warranty gives
you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.
Princeton Tec reserves the right to change product
specifications without notice.
Return Policy
If your light fails to operate, follow these simple steps:
1) Check batteries. Replace if necessary.
2) Contact Princeton Tec customer service at
800-257-9080 to request an RMA number to send your
light in for repair or replacement. No warranty repairs
will be accepted without an RMA number.
3) Return the light without batteries to: Princeton Tec,
5198 Rt. 130, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Postage due
and freight collect items will not be accepted.
