Wii Fit™ Docking Station
Item-No. 90 30 10
Intended Use
This Wii Fit™ Docking Station is intended to be used both for storing and as a charging station
for your Wii Fit™ Balance Board. It comes with a 500 mAh NIMH battery pack, which can be
recharged up to 600 times.
The voltage is supplied via the power supply unit (12V/DC) enclosed.
The system components are only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instruction must be followed at all times.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
Explanation of the Symbols
The lightening symbol in a triangle is used to alert you to potential risks for personal
injury, such as electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling,
operation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any
consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The system components must not be modified or converted, as not only the
CE approval will become void but also the warranty.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare hands. Use pro-
tective gloves.
• For the voltage supply, only use the plug-in power supply (12V/DC)
included in the delivery.
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme temperatures,
direct sunlight, intense vibration, humidity or heavy mechanical stress.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the system components require some
time to adjust to the ambient temperature. Wait until the components have
adjusted to the ambient temperature before use.
• The system components are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of
children!
• Only use the charging station contained in the scope of delivery to recharge
the batteries enclosed.
• Please contact qualified personnel if you are unsure about the safety or the
correct use of the product.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic film/
bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of
suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period
of time
or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.
• The system components are only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
• Ensure that no sources of magnetism or electro-magnetism or heat sources
are in the vicinity of the product.
• Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls from low heights
and pressure can damage the device.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified
specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical service or another specialist.
Notes on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/-).

• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed by chil-

dren or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause chemical burns on contact
with the skin, if suitable protective gloves are not used.
• Make sure that the batteries/accumulators are not short-circuited, taken to pieces or thrown
into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable
batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the batteries or rechargeable
batteries. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the product, which will lead to the loss
of the warranty/guarantee!
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read
the chapter „Disposal".
Connection and Start-up
• Carefully fold out the rear support foot, until it clicks into place.
• Connect the plug-in power supply unit to the connection „DC12V" on the rear. Connect the
power supply unit to a standard 230 V/AC 50 Hz domestic socket.
• Remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries from
your Wii Fit™ Balance Board, if required.
• Carefully connect the enclosed rechargeable battery
pack to your Wii Fit™ Balance Board (see picture on
the right).
• Place the Wii Fit™ Balance Board in the WiiFit™
Docking Station (see picture on the right).
• Make sure the charging contacts on the rechargeable
battery pack and the charging contacts on the Wii Fit™
Docking Station are correctly aligned on top of each
other and thus, provide the optimum contact with each
other.
• Switch the ON/OFF switch, which is located on the
rear of the Wii Fit™ Docking Station, to the position
„I" (=ON).
• After successfully charging, it might be necessary to synchronise the Wii Fit™ Balance Board
again. To do this, press the „SYNC" key on the rechargeable battery pack.
Maintenance and Cleaning
There are no parts of the system components that require maintenance. Therefore, never open
the components.
To clean the charging station, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Clean the charging station very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any
aggressive cleaning agents.
The Wii Fit™ Docking Station has two displays on the front to indicate the
charging status. These are graphical LCD displays, which show the current
charging status in 5 blocks. 1 Block = 20%
The elongated LED strip, which is located directly above the display, shines
„blue" during the charging process. Once the rechargeable battery pack is
fully charged, this LED strip flashes „green".
Charging takes about 1.5 hours.
The operating time with a fully charged battery pack is up to
12 hours.
In order to ensure a highest possible service life of the battery pack, we
recommend the the rechargeable battery pack is used until it is completely
flat before it is recharged again.
If you wish to use the Wii Fit™ Docking Station only as a support foot for your
Wii Fit™ Balance Board, we recommend you switch the ON/OFF switch on the
rear to the position „O" (=OFF).
If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the batteries
or rechargeable batteries. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the
product, which will lead to the loss of the warranty/guarantee!
