M172N | Fahrrad Power Laderegler USB
Erlaubt den Anschluss von Handys, Navigatoren, PDA`s,
MP3-Playern usw. am Fahrrad-Dynamo. Der Laderegler
hat eine USB-A Buchse. Dadurch können viele Ladekabel von diver-
sen Geräten verwendet werden. Ein Ladekabel mit Micro-USB-Stecker
liegt bei. Zusätzlich ist dieser Laderegler besonders leistungsstark:
Eingangsspannung bis max. 70 V (kann bei Nabendynamos bei sehr
hohen Geschwindigkeiten auftreten). Ausgangsleistung: 5 V max.
800 mA (wenn Ihr Dynamo diese Leistung auch schafft, sonst ist der
Strom geringer: max. ca. 500 mA).

Allows the connection of mobile
navigators, PDAs, MP3-players, etc. to a bicycle dynamo.
The charge controller has an USB-A jack. It is thus possible to use
many charging cables of various devices. A charging cable with micro
USB plug is enclosed. In addition this charge controller is especially
powerful: input voltage up to max. 70 V (may occur with hub dyna-
mos at very high speeds). Output: 5 V max. 800 mA (if your dynamo
can produce this output, otherwise the current is lower: max. approx.
500 mA).

Systém umožňuje připojit mobilní telefon, navigační
soustavu, PDA, MP3-přehrávač a pod. na bicyklové dynamo. Dyna-
mový regulátor má jednu koncovku USB, co dovoluje použít mnoho
přístrojů, které používají napojení na USB. Nabíjecí kabel s koncovkou
Micro-USB je dodávaný spolu s regulátorem. Dodávaný regulátor je
mimořádne výkonný: Vstupní napětí max. do 70 V (dosahuje se u
dynam s montáží v kolese bicykla při vysokých rxyhlostech). Výstupní
napětí: 5 V, max. 800 mA (v případě, že vaše dynamo má taký výkon,

D | Wie wird das Gerät an einem
Nabendynamo angeschlossen?
Bitte finden Sie heraus, welches der beiden
Kabel des Dynamos mit dem mittleren Lam-
penkontakt verbunden ist. Wenn Sie das Kabel
herausgefunden haben, muss es in der Nähe
von M172N getrennt werden. Nun schließen Sie
das Ende, welches vom Dynamo kommt, an den
„Dynamo"-Anschluss von M172N und das andere
Ende (welches zu den beiden Lampen führt) an
den „Light"-Anschluss von M172N.
Der „Frame"-Anschluss muss zusätzlich an das
Kabel, das vom äußeren Kontakt der Lampe zum
telefoons,
Dynamo führt, angeschlossen werden.
Aufbauanweisung: Die 4 Schrauben am Gerät lösen, dann kann der Deckel
abgenommen werden. Neben der USB-Buchse ist eine 3-polige Schraubklemme.
Hier werden die Kabel zur Fahrradbeleuchtung, dem Rahmen (Masse) und dem
Dynamo gemäß Zeichnung angeschlossen (Kabelmaterial liegt nicht bei).
Das Gerät wird wieder zugeschraubt und dann gemäß Zeichnung mit Kabelbin-
dern an der Lenkstange befestigt. Dabei muss der Schalter nach oben zeigen.
Wenn Sie das Gerät in einer anderen Position einbauen, besteht die Gefahr,
dass Regenwasser in die Öffnung der USB-Buchse läuft. In diesem Fall müs-
sen Sie das Gerät mit einem übergezogenen Plastikbeutel gegen Feuchtigkeit
schützen.
Dann stecken Sie das Verbindungskabel zwischen der USB-A-Buchse unten am
Ladegerät und Ihrem Navi oder Handy ein. Es liegt ein Verbindungskabel USB-A
auf Micro-USB bei. Wenn Ihr Gerät keine Micro-USB-Buchse hat, dann müssen
Sie sich im Fachhandel ein entsprechendes Kabel oder einen Adapter kaufen. Es
sind handelsübliche Kabel mit USB-A auf der einen Seite und mit vielen anderen
Steckern auf der anderen Seite zu kaufen. Wichtig: Unsere USB-A-Buchse ori-
entiert sich nach der allgemein üblichen Beschaltung: die äußeren Pins führen
die Versorgungsspannung. Wir haben viele Geräte ausprobiert, alle arbeiteten
einwandfrei. Es gibt aber sicherlich Ausnahmen bei den anschließbaren Geräten,
die sich nicht an die allgemeinübliche Norm halten und sich deshalb nicht laden
lassen. Bitte schreiben Sie uns deswegen nicht an, wir haben nicht die Lösungen
für alle Geräte auf der Welt.
Inbetriebnahme: Wenn Sie tagsüber fahren, stellen Sie den Schalter auf „USB".
Wenn sich das Fahrrad jetzt bewegt, leuchtet die eingebaute LED auf und der
Laderegler liefert Strom an das angeschlossene Gerät. Wenn es dunkel wird und
Sie mit Beleuchtung fahren müssen, dann legen Sie den Schalter auf „Light".
Dann wird die Fahrradbeleuchtung vom Dynamo mit Strom versorgt und das am
USB-Anschluss angeschlossene Gerät bekommt keinen Strom mehr und die LED
leuchtet auch nicht.
Wichtig: Wenn das angeschlossene Gerät außen liegende Metallteile hat, dann
dürfen diese nicht elektrisch leitend mit dem Fahrradrahmen verbunden werden
(keine Berührung).
Bestimmungsmäßige Verwendung: Betrieb von elektronischen Kleingeräten
wie Navigatoren, Handys, MP3 Playern usw. am Fahrraddynamo.

Eingang: 6 V Fahrraddynamo (auch geeignet für 6 V Nabendynamos, die bei
hohen Geschwindigkeiten bis zu 70 V abgeben können) | Ausgang: über USB-A-

Please find out which of the two cables co-
ming from the dynamo is connected to the
centre lamp contact. Once the correct cable
has been determined, it has to be separated
within close proximity to the M172N. Take the
end coming from the dynamo and connect it
to the "Dynamo" connection on the M172N.
The other cable end (going to the two lamps)
is connected to the "Light" connection on the
M172N.
The "Frame" connection is connected with the
wire that runs from the outer lamp contact to
the dynamo.

Screw down the device again and then fasten it with cable straps at the handlebar
in accordance with the drawing. In doing so, the switch must face upwards. If you
install the device in another position, there is the risk that rain water runs into
the opening of the USB jack. In this case you have to protect the device against
humidity by covering it with a plastic bag.
Then put the connecting cable between the USB-A jack at the bottom of the char-
ging device and your navigator or mobile phone. A connecting cable for USB-A
to micro USB is enclosed. If your device has no micro USB jack, then you have
to buy a corresponding cable or adapter in a specialist shop. Commercial cables
with USB-A on the one side and many other plugs on the other side are available.
Important: our USB-A jack conforms to the commonly used wiring: the outer
pins carry the supply voltage. We have tested many devices, all of them worked
perfectly. But certainly there are exceptions with regard to the devices suitable for
connection, which do not adhere to the common standards and, therefore, cannot
be charged. We would like to ask you not to contact us in this case as we do not
have solutions for all devices available in the world.
Setting into operation: If you drive during the day set the switch to "USB".
When moving the bicycle now, the installed LED lights up and the charge control-
ler supplies current to the connected device. When it gets dark and you want to
drive with lighting, set the switch to "Light". Then the bicycle lightening is supplied
with current by the dynamo and the device connected at the USB connection re-
ceives no more current and the LED does not light up either.
Important: If the connected device has metal parts on the outside, then these
must no be connected electrically-conductively with the bicycle frame (no con-
tact).
Use as directed: Operation of small electronic devices such as navigators, mobi-
le phones, MP3 players etc. at a bicycle dynamo.

Montážní Instrukce: Odšroubovat 4 šrouby z přistroje, pak sejmout víko. Vedle
USB- zdířky je jedna 3-pólová šroubová svorka. To jsou svorky pro kabely pro sví-
tilnu bicykla, uzemnění (rám) a dynamo, zapojení udělat podle nákresu (kabelový
materiál není v dodávce).
Víko přistroje zašroubovat a přístroj pak podle nákresu s vázacím kabelem upevnit
na řidítka. Dbát na to, aby přepínač směroval nahoru. Když se montáž přístroje
dělá na jiné místo, vzniká nebezpečí, že dešťová voda vnikne do otvoru USB
koncovky. V takovém případě je potřeba chránit přístroj a navléknout na něj plas-
tikový sáček.
Pak zasuňte spojovací kabel mezi USB koncovku dolů na regulátor nabíjení a váš
navigační prístroj , nebo mobilný telefon. Spojovací kabel USB-A na Micro-USB je
