Welcome to Koubachi Wi-Fi Plant Sensor
This manual explains how to set up and configure
your Wi-Fi Plant Sensor and use its key features.
System Requirements
•
Internet connection through Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g)
•
Wi-Fi reception at location of plant
•
For Wi-Fi configuration, you need a computer
with a browser or an Apple iOS device.
Wi-Fi Configuration

iPhone, iPod or iPad: Download the Koubachi
App from the Apple App Store. Other systems:
Open your Internet browser and register at
http://go.koubachi.com.

Insert batteries.

Configure the Wi-Fi Plant Sensor by following
the instructions in the App.

Stick the sensor into the soil near your plant.
Water Resistance
The indoor version is splash proof (IPX1). The
outdoor version is rainproof (IPX4). Do not immerse
any sensor in water!
Functionality
The Wi-Fi Plant Sensor measures soil moisture,
light intensity, and temperature. All measurements
are wirelessly transmitted to the Koubachi server
for analysis.
Light and Temperature
Measured every hour.
Soil Moisture
Measured every 5 hour.

Instant Measurement
Briefly press for instant mea-
surement and transmission.
(Green Light)
Wi-Fi Configuration
Press and hold for three se-
conds to activate the confi-
guration mode.
(Orange Light)
Reset
Press and hold for ten se-
conds to reset the stored
network settings (Wi-Fi
configuration data). After a
reset, Wi-Fi configuration is
required again. Your Plant
data on the server will not
be deleted.
