PIKO Loco-Net Converter
Description:
Using the four ports on the PIKO Loco-Net Converter you can integrate up to four LocoNet
compatible accessories directly into the PIKO SmartControl
This way you can continue using existing throttles like the Uhlenbrock Daisy
ProfiBoss ® as well as the Digitrax ® DT400 or UT2 with the PIKO SmartControl
The PIKO SmartControl ® system will show locomotives controlled via LocoNet
As soon as you trigger an action on the PIKO SmartController
transferred to the PIKO SmartController ® .
Fully compatible throttles will display results from actions taken on the PIKO SmartController
the current speed step. Not fully compatible throttles (for example a Roco MultiMaus connected
through an additional adapter) might only be able to trigger actions in the PIKO SmartControl
system but will not receive feedback. The LocoNet converter also enables the use of LocoNet
boosters with the PIKO SmartControl ® system.*
* Warning: Boosters equipped with a so called "H4" bridge may not be used with the converter.
Only galvanically isolated Boosters may be used. Otherwise the PIKO SmartBox
physically damaged!
Connecting to the PIKO SmartBox :

PIKO SmartBox . It can be used immediately. (This requires PIKO SmartBox

Beschreibung:
Der PIKO Lok-Netz Converter ermöglicht es, mit seinen vier Anschlüssen bis zu vier LocoNet

Dadurch können bereits vorhandene Handregler weiterhin genutzt werden, wie bspw.

* ACHTUNG: Es dürfen keine Booster mit einer sogenannten „H4" Brücke verwendet werden!
Es dürfen nur galvanisch entkoppelte Booster angeschlossen werden, sonst kann es zu
physikalischen Schäden an der PIKO SmartBox* führen!
Verbindung mit der PIKO SmartBox
Nach dem Anschluß an die PIKO SmartBox

** Eine direkte, grafische Anzeige von Rückmeldungen ist innerhalb des PIKO SmartControl
Systems nicht möglich. Aus dem LocoNet
jedoch über die Ethernetbuchse („LAN") an PC-Programme weitergeleitet und können dort
entsprechend verarbeitet werden.
