b) Manual Registration

For this, you will need not only your DECT basis station and the DECT repeater, but
also a functional DECT handset. Also keep the operating instructions to your phone
ready.
The DECT repeater must not be in operation; pull the DECT repeater's mains adapter from the
mains socket.
Your phone (DECT basis station and DECT handset) must be ready for operation (the DECT
handset must be registered at the DECT basis station).
1. Put the DECT repeater in registration mode.
For this, connect the DECT repeater to the power supply for 1-5 seconds. Then disconnect
it from the power supply for a few seconds.
Connect the DECT repeater to the power supply again.
The DECT repeater LED flashes slowly.

The DECT repeater is now in registration mode for a period of 5 minutes. If
registration is not performed within this period, registration must be repeated.
2. Activate the registration mode at your DECT basis station.
Usually, a button at the DECT basis station must be kept pressed for at least 5 seconds
for this. Observe the operating instructions for your DECT phone.
3. The DECT repeater LED flashes.
If the LED flashes very quickly (without breaks in between), continue with step 5.
If the LED flashes quickly with breaks, continue with step 4.
If the LED flashes only slowly, no signal was recognised. Start again with step 2. With
some DECT basis stations, it is helpful to briefly interrupt the DECT basis station's power
supply and to start the registration mode then (step 2).
4. Registration of a handset
If the connection code of the DECT basis station was changed, it must be reset to "0000"
for the DECT repeater.
Observe the operating instructions for your DECT phone. Then the handset must be
registered again at the basis station.
