Intended Use
This unit may only be used as an electronic
control (radio receiver) together with mains-
powered devices and only indoors.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for any
damage caused by improper or non-intended
use!

Function
The RCP05 Plug-In Receiver is designed for
switching a mains-powered device on and off.
The receiver can be operated both by Easy-
wave multi-channel transmitters and single-
channel transmitters.
You can memorize a total of 32 transmission
codes.

Installation Advice
•
When selecting an electric socket, make
sure that the radio transmission between
the transmitter and receiver is unob-

structed. Brick walls and other insulating
materials reduce the range of the radio
transmission.

Avoid installing near large metal surfaces

or close to the ground. If installation near
metal surfaces cannot be avoided, main-
tain a distance of at least 0.1 m.

Start-Up
1. Take the Plug-In Receiver out of the
package.

2. Plug the unit into an electric socket.
3. Via the mains plug connect the device to
be switched to the mains output of the
Plug-In Receiver.
4. Transfer the codes of the transmitters to
the receiver (see section "Memorizing the
Transmission Codes").
Programming and Operating Modes
There are three programming modes for the 3
operating modes of the Plug-In Receiver.
The different modes are displayed by different
LED flashings.

pressing the programming button
(< 1.6 sec.): Mode 1 –> Mode 2 –>

Memorizing the Transmission Codes
In the "Memorizing the Transmission Codes"
mode you can transfer the codes of your
transmitter to the Plug-In Receiver.
Note: Generally you only have to transfer the
code of one button A per transmitter. The
code of the opposite transmitter button will be
assigned automatically.
1. Briefly (< 1.6 sec.) press the programming
button. The programming mode 1 is acti-
vated. The LED flashes.
If necessary change the programming
mode (see "Programming and Operating
Modes").
2. Press and hold the transmitter button, with
which you wish to switch the device. If the
code has been memorized, the LED lights
up for approx. 4 sec. and then flashes
again. Release the transmitter button.
3. Repeat the programming procedure for the
other transmitters. The unit can memorize
up to 32 transmission codes.
4. By briefly pressing the programming
button, you can return to the operating
mode (see „Programming and Operating
Modes").
Note: In case of longer power failure pro-
gramming remains.
Deleting Specific Codes
In the "Specific Delete" mode you can delete
specific transmission Codes.
1. Keep the programming button pressed for
more than 1.6 sec. The delete mode is ac-
tivated. The LED flashes rapidly.
2. Press the selected transmitter button.
If the LED of the Plug-In Receiver lights up
for approx. 4 sec., the transmitter code has
been deleted.
Note: By briefly pressing the programming
button, you can abort the delete procedure.
Reset (Deleting Memory Completely)
In the "Reset" mode you can delete all codes
memorized in the Plug-In Receiver.
1. Keep the programming button pressed for
more than 1.6 sec. The delete mode is ac-
tivated. The LED flashes rapidly.
2. Press the programming button again and
keep it pressed for more than 1.6 sec. If
the LED lights up for approx. 4 secs, all
the memorized codes have been deleted.
Note: By briefly pressing the programming
button, you can abort the delete procedure.
Disposal
Waste electrical products should not be

disposed of with household waste!
Put the packaging material into
a container for cardboard and
paper.
Dispose of the waste product via
a collection point for electronic
scrap or via your specialist dealer.
Warranty
Within the statutory warranty period we under-
take to rectify free of charge by repair or
replacement any product defects arising from
material or production faults.
Any unauthorized tampering with, or modifica-
tions to, the product shall render this warranty
null and void.

sential requirements of the R&TTE
directive 1999/5/EC.
