1. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Diese PCMCIA CardBus Karte entspricht dem 32-Bit CardBus PC Card Type II Standard und ist für den Einsatz in allen
Notebooks mit PCMCIA CardBus Steckplatz geeignet. Dadurch können Sie Ihrem Notebook zwei serielle Schnittstellen
hinzufügen.
Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen und/oder Verändern des Produktes
nicht gestattet. Eine andere Verwendung als oben beschrieben ist nicht erlaubt und kann zur Beschädigung des
Produkts führen. Darüber hinaus ist dies mit Gefahren, wie z. B. Kurzschluss, Brand, Stromschlag usw. verbunden.
Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung genau durch und bewahren Sie diese für späteres Nachschlagen auf.

4. Installation (nur für Windows XP)
1. Schieben Sie die PCMCIA-Karte in einen freien Steckplatz des Notebooks und beachten Sie dabei die korrekte
Position.
2. Windows erkennt die neue Steuerungskarte automatisch.
3. Gegebenenfalls öffnet sich ein Fenster zur „MosChip" Kompatibilität. Wählen Sie bitte „Continue Anyway" [„Trotzdem
fortfahren"] aus.
4. Legen Sie die Treiber-CD in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk Ihres Computers.
5. Wenn Windows nach dem Treiber für die neue Steuerungskarte fragt, gehen Sie bitte auf folgenden Ordner:
- D:\NetMOS\NM9835S\Win2K_XP_2003Server
6. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung OK.
7. Es erscheint eine Systemwarnmeldung; wählen Sie „Continue Anyway" [„Trotzdem fortfahren"] aus.
8. Folgen Sie den Bildschirmanweisungen, bis die Treiberinstallation abgeschlossen ist.
9. Zur Ausgabe der Karte verfügen die meisten Notebooks über kleine Druckknöpfe neben dem PCMCIA Steckplatz.
Bitte beachten Sie die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Notebooks zum Einlegen und zur Ausgabe von PCMCIA Karten.
Beachten Sie für detaillierte Installationsbeschreibungen zu allen Betriebssystemen bitte die
Druckversion der Bedienungsanleitung des Herstellers bzw. die Installationsanleitung, die auf der CD
in der Datei „NetMOS" enthalten ist.
5. Entsorgung
Im Interesse unserer Umwelt und um die verwendeten Rohstoffe möglichst vollständig zu recyclen, ist
der Verbraucher aufgefordert, gebrauchte und defekte Geräte zu den öffentlichen Sammelstellen für
Elektroschrott zu bringen.
Das Zeichen der durchgestrichenen Mülltonne mit Rädern bedeutet, dass dieses Produkt an einer
Sammelstelle für Elektronikschrott abgegeben werden muss.

1. Intended use
This PCMCIA CardBus card is compliant with 32-Bit CardBus PC Card Type II standard, and is designed for use on any
notebook with PCMCIA CardBus slot. You can add 2 serial ports to your notebook.
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons
(CE). Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the product and lead to associated
risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Please read the operating instructions thoroughly and keep them
for further reference.

4. Installation (For Windows XP only)
1. Slide the PCMCIA card to an available slot in the notebook and observe the correct orientation.
2. Windows will automatically detect a new controller card.
3. A MosChip compatibility window may pop up. Please select "Continue Anyway".
4. Insert the driver CD into the CD drive of your computer.
5. When Windows ask for the driver for the new controller card, browse to the following folder:
- D:\NetMOS\NM9835S\Win2K_XP_2003Server
6. Press OK to Confirm
7. The system will pop-up Warning message, please select "Continue Anyway".
8. Follow the on-screen instructions until the driver installation is completed.
9. To eject the card, most notebook computers are equipped with small press buttons next to the PCMCIA slot. Please
pbservce the operating manual of your notebook computer for inserting and removing PCMCIA cards.
For detailed installation procedures of all operating systems, please refer to the printed manufacturer's
manual or the installation guide included in the CD, under file "NetMOS".
5. Disposal
In order to preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment, protect human health and utilise
natural resources prudently and rationally, the user should return unserviceable product to relevant
facilities in accordance with statutory regulations.
The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates the product needs to be disposed separately and not as municipal
waste.
