A classic 12-point crampon
designed for general mountai-
neering, alpinism, mixed ice and
rock climbing, and moderate
waterfall routes. The four points
that are perpendicular to the
crampon rails, prevent shearing
in soft snow and improve secu-
rity while descending (facing
outward). The crampons are
fully adjustable by hand, without
tools and one size fits all. G12
is easily folded for transporta-
tion.
New-Classic Binding:
This system evolved from the
traditional Classic binding and
can adapt itself to any type of
boot. Both front and rear plastic
harnesses are hinged to their
respective retention posts and
may be "opened" to facilitate
attachment to the boot, then
closed securely once the shoe
is inside. The single strap closu-
re system is so simple we may
not need to provide instructions;
the New Classic is thus ideal for
rental programs and first time
users. The width of the rear har-
ness adjusts to accommodate
virtually any heel size. This
system is simple and reliable,
quick and easy, but it does take
up a bit more space in the ruck-
sack. The harness is made from
the strongest, most durable pla-
stic available -Zytel DuPont-,
which was developed for the
manufacture of alpine ski bin-
dings - but obviously, it cannot
last forever. So please, after
long and severe use replace the
harness the same way you
would resole trekking boots or
rock climbing shoes.

misto, per il ghiaccio più
severo, con la possibilità di
essere usato anche su
cascata. Modello semi-rigi-
do, in misura unica regola-
bile con sistema rapido
totalmente manuale. Per
scarpe molto piccole 12
punte possono essere trop-
po concentrate sotto lo
scarpone.
Chiusura New-Classic:
Adatto a qualunque tipo di
scarpone è l'evoluzione del
tradizionale sistema a cin-
ghie Classic. Le parti in pla-
stica anteriore e posteriore
si aprono, rispettivamente
in avanti e all'indietro, per
facilitare la calzata. Il bloc-
caggio con la cinghia supe-
riore è rapido e comodo. La
parte posteriore ha una
regolazione sul tallone per
sposare perfettamente la
forma dello scarpone. Molto
comodo e polivalente è un
pò più ingombrante da
riporre nello zaino. La pla-
stica utilizzata è la più affi-
dabile oggi disponibile -
Zeytel DuPont- ma natural-
mente non può essere eter-
na e quindi dopo un uso
severo e prolungato, non
esitate a sostituirla.

Steigeisenbindungen New-
Classic:
Eine Weiterentwicklung der
Classic-Bindung. Diese
Bindung passt auf jeden
Bergschuh Beide Gurtsysteme
aus Kunststoff können, zum
leichteren Einsteigen, geöffnet
und dann sicher geschlossen
werden, wenn sich der Schuh
im Steigeisen befindet. Das
Befestigungssystem aus
einem Riemen ist so einfach,
dass wir keine
Gebrauchsanweisung dazu lie-
fern müssen. Das New Classic
ist ideal für Anfänger und für
Leihsteigeisen. Die Breite des
Fersengurtes lasst sich pro-
blemlos auf jede Absatzbreite
einstellen. Ein einfaches und
verlässliches System, das
schnell und leicht zu handha-
ben ist, jedoch braucht es
etwas mehr Platz im
Rucksack. Das Gurtsystem ist
aus Zytel von DuPont. Dies ist
der stabilste und dauerhafteste
Kunststoff, der derzeit erhält-
lich ist. Er wurde ursprünglich
für Skibindungen entwickelt.
Aber auch der beste Kunststoff
hält nicht ewig; deshalb sollten
Sie ihn nach langem und
intensivem Gebrauch
erneuern, genauso wie Sie
ihre Trekking- oder
Kletterschuhe neu besohlen
lassen.

Semi rigide, en taille uni-
que, il est réglable avec
un système rapide sans
outils. Modèle à éviter
pour les petites pointures.
Attache New-Classic:
Ce système s'adapte à
n'importe quel type de
chaussures, c'est l'évolu-
tion du système Classic.
La possibilité d'ouvrir les
parties en plastique à l'a-
vant et à l'arrière facilite la
mise en place de la chaus-
sure sur le crampon. Le
blocage avec une seule
sangle est simple et rapi-
de. La partie postérieure
prévoit un réglage sur le
talon pour faire suivre au
plastique la forme de la
chaussure. Facile et rapi-
de, ce système est un peu
plus encombrant que les
autres. Le plastique utilisé,
le Zeytel DuPont, est le
plus efficace et résistant
mais il ne s'agit pas d'un
matériel éternel. N'hésitez
pas après un long usage à
changer ces pièces.

ascensiones difíciles sobre
hielo y cascadas. Modelo
semirrígido de una sola
talla, fácilmente regulable
mediante sistema manual.
En botas muy pequeñas
las puntas centrales pue-
den quedar demasiado
próximas entre sí.
Cierre New-Classic:
Adaptable a cualquier tipo
de bota, constituye la evo-
lución del sistema tradicio-
nal de correa Classic. La
parte en plástico y la
posterior se abre respecti-
vamente hacia adelante y
atrás, para facilitar el cal-
zarse. El bloqueo con la
cinta superior es rápido y
cómodo. La parte posterior
tiene una reglaje en el
talón para unir perfecta-
mente la forma de la bota.
Muy cómodo y polivalene
pero es un poco mas volu-
minoso para guardar en la
mochila. El plástico usado
hoy dia es el disponible
mas fiable - Zeytel DuPont
- pero naturalmente no es
eterna y después de un
uso severo y prolongado,
es mejor cambiarlo.
