5. Initial setup

5.1 Cleaning
The SQuape MECANIC has been thoroughly
cleaned before dispatch.
CAUTION: Do not use abrasive materials
on the activator ring or the contact pins
of the button assembly as this might com-
promise the gold-plating and reduce the
conductivity.
Use a soft cloth/tissue or compressed
air to remove any debris that might ac-
cumulate in the button assembly regu-
larly to ensure best working condition..
5.2 Battery orientation
Always install the battery with the positive
towards the button and the negative to-
wards the atomiser. The battery adjustment
screw can be reached through the hole in
the button with a screwdriver or with un-
screwed switch cap to adjust for different
sized batteries and to provide the best pos-
sible conductivity. Unscrew the adjustment
screw before inserting a battery and then
tighten it when the mod is fully assembled
with a suitable atomiser on top to guarantee
best performance.
