SETTING THE TIME AND DATE
To set the watch, the crown (C) can be pulled
out two "stops". The first position (2) is
the DATE setting position, and the second
position (3) is the TIME setting position. To
ensure that the date changes correctly, pull
the crown out one stop, to the DATE setting
position. Turn the crown clockwise until the
date in the date window shows yesterday's
date. Then, pull the crown out one more
stop to the TIME setting position and turn
the hands forward until the date in the date
window changes to the current date. Keep
turning the hands forward until you reach
the correct time. Once the time is set, push
in the crown back to the last position (1).
NOTE: It is recommended not to set the
date after 9PM or before 5AM, as this could
result in the date not changing correctly.
If you set the watch after 12 o'clock noon,
make sure you turn the hands around the
dial and past 12 o'clock (noon) to set the
PM time. If you do not do this, the date will
change at noon, instead of midnight.
TWIST N' CLICK BEZEL RING
To remove the existing bezel, firmly twist
the bezel counter-clockwise (approx. 40
The bezel ring will stop twisting any further
and pop up for removal. To attach the
bezel ring, simply align the top and bottom
guides to the watch face, push down and
twist clockwise (approx. 40 ) until it clicks

and locks into place.

Your watch employs an
luminous material called
SUPERLUMINOUS. This technology allows
you to read the time at night, without having
to push any buttons. The completely non-
radioactive, BLACKOUT SUPERLUMINOUS
coating functions by charging from ambient
light; the brighter the light, the faster and
more powerful the "charge". When new, we
recommend you set it in direct sunlight for
30 minutes to "charge" it up for maximum
effect, but normal room lighting will
generally "charge" your watch enough to
be legible for several hours.
WATER PROTECTION
This watch is designed as a sports watch.
Each watch is tested to at least 100M / 10
ATM / 330FT (see your watch for actual
depth rating) and can be immersed in water,
provided the crown is correctly pushed
in. If the watch is regularly serviced and
maintained, you can wear it in the shower,
swimming, kayaking, etc., without worry.
TEMPERATURE CARE
Please avoid temperature

Exposing your watch to high temperatures,
such as placing it on the dashboard of a
vehicle or use in a jacuzzi or hot tub may
cause the watch to malfunction, shorten
battery life, or cause deformations of
certain components leading to mechanical
failures. Leaving the watch in extreme cold
temperatures may cause irregular time
keeping until the watch returns to normal
operating temperatures. For these reasons,
you should remove your watch prior to
extreme exposure.

CRYSTAL
amazingly Most of our watches are fitted with a heat-
BLACKOUT tempered mineral crystal. Please note
that while this glass is heat-hardened, an
impact with a hard or sharp object can
scratch, crack or shatter the crystal. If this
happens, return the watch to one of our
Service Centers, where the crystal can be
replaced for a moderate charge. (Scratches
and impact damage are considered part
of normal wear and not covered under
warranty.) A virtually
sapphire crystal is standard on all S-Series
models and is available as an upgrade for
almost all models. Please check with our
Service Department.
TWO (2) YEAR WARRANTY
Great care has been taken to ensure
that your watch will give you many years
of reliable service. The best possible
materials and components have gone
into your watch. It is guaranteed for two
years against any defect caused by a fault
in its manufacture*. Please retain your
purchase receipt as proof of warranty. To
keep it in top condition, please treat it with
care and have it professionally serviced at
extremes.

of the case or bracelet caused by wear
and tear or abuse and damage caused by
cracked or broken crystals. Battery life

2/4/6 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY
Please retain your purchase receipt for
proof of warranty. After the initial 2-year
warranty expires, we recommend that you
extend your warranty by sending your
watch to a Momentum
a Full Service . This chargeable service

includes: battery replacement, cleaning,
lubrication, and accuracy tuning of the
movement as required, lubrication or
replacement of all seals, pressure testing
to original specification, return shipping
and insurance (within Canada and US),
and a 2 year warranty extension. After 4
years, send it in for another Full Service
and extend the warranty for a final two
years (for a total of 6 years from original
purchase date).
ATTENTION: Your watch is designed
and successfully tested to be water
resistant. To achieve this, please ensure
the crown is completely pushed in before
carefully
exposure to water. Please refer to you
warranty/manual for more information.
