Installation

The interface can be used in the following cars:
BMW series 3 E46, series 5 E39, X3 E83, X5 E53, Z4 E85, series 7 E38 with 16:9 navigation and TV
tuner.
Land Rover Range Rover up to 2004 and Rover 75 with TV Tuner.

1. Remove and disconnect the TV tuner in the trunk.

2. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the blue 18-PIN jack from the video module.
Plug in the interface between video module and AMP connector.
Function:
In delivery status the 1270 interface is activated. For deactivation or
reactivation, the "Clock" - key has to be pressed for app. 1 sec.
Switching off the ignition doesn't change the interface status set before!
ATTENTION!!!
In some vehicles (e.g. X3 E83, Z4 E85) this "Clock" – key is not present. In
this case, the status
of the interface (active or passive) can't be changed. Therefore it is activated
invariably.
