UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)
This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp plug is
used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour coded:
blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (&
yellow).

SPECIAL ATTENTION

Your new appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When plugged in
and operating for the first time, there may be a little momentary smoking while this coating is initially
heated. This presents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in the unit. When using for
the first time, allow the appliance to continue running until the smoke dissipates. This should last only
about 30 seconds.
HOW TO USE YOUR STYLING DRYER
AIR CONCENTRATOR : The air concentrator attaches easily onto the barrel of your dryer and
allows you to direct the airflow on a small section of hair at a time as you style and shape
hair with a vent brush or comb. You can also build body and fullness into fine, thin hair by
directing the airflow against the natural growth of the hair.
DIFFUSER : The finger diffuser attachment snaps onto the air chamber of the unit to give you precise
styling control whole you lift and shape the hair as it dries. It's ideal for drying or finishing
naturally curly or permed hair and for adding body and volume to any hairstyle.
TO USE: After lightly towel drying hair, set the dryer on low speed and low heat. Place the attachment
where volume is desired, with shorter fingers positioned toward your forehead. Begin to
move your dryer in small circles, thus creating volume and body. Pull downward toward
the ends of the hair to smooth and untangle.
WARNING: NEVER SET YOUR DRYER ON A HIGH HEAT AND HIGH SPEED SETTING
WHEN THE VOLUMIZER OR PULSATOR ATTACHMENT IS CONNECTED. THIS MAY
LEAD TO DAMAGE OF THE HAIRDRYER AND/OR TO THE ATTACHMENT DUE TO
ABNORMAL HEAT BUILD-UP.
WHILE USING : Untwist cord from time to time to avoid tangling.
TO CLEAN : Unplug unit and allow to cool. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the surfaces.
Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the unit. Intake grille must be cleared of
any build-up of lint or hair with a small brush.
