Thank you for your purchase. This quartz
watch has been carefully designed to give
you years of reliable service. The design
incorporates
the
latest
watchmaking
technology. Please let us know if you have

USING THE SCREW CROWN (C):
Your watch is equipped with a screw-down,
locking crown "C". This screws into the case,
to ensure a reliable water tight seal. To set
your watch, you must fi rst unscrew the
crown by turning it counter-clockwise 3-4
turns, then pull out gently from the case for
setting. After setting or resetting the watch
always ensure that you screw the crown
back into the case by pressing it fi rmly into
the case; then, applying a gentle pressure
against the case, turn the crown clockwise
3-4 turns until snug. Always ensure that it
turns smoothly and is not cross-threaded.
Do not over tighten! (Finger-tight will ensure
a good water tight seal.) It is absolutely
essential that the screw down crown is
fully closed before using your watch on or
in the water and we recommend that this
is checked prior to contact with water. Any
warranty whatsoever will be invalidated if
this vital procedure is not adhered to, any
watches returned under warranty that have
suffered from water penetration will be
pressure tested to check the effectiveness
of the screw down crown.
SETTING THE TIME, DAY & DATE
To set the watch, fi rst unscrew the crown to
the neutral position (1). Now, pull the crown
out all the way to the TIME Setting position
(3). Turn the hands forward until the date in
the date window changes - this is midnight.
Continue to turn the hands forward until
the correct time is displayed.
(NOTE: If
setting the watch in the afternoon, you
must turn the hands forward at least 12
hours, otherwise, the date will change at
noon, not midnight.)
To set the date, push the crown in one stop
to position 2. Turn counter-clockwise until
today's date shows in the date window.
Turn clockwise a few turns to set the day. It
is recommended not to set the day (or date)
after 9PM or before 5AM, as this could result
in the day (or date) not changing correctly.

Most day disks are bilingual: to change the
day to the other language, simply turn the
day forward one "click" after 9PM or before
5AM. Finally, always remember to press in
the crown and screw it fi rmly into the case
after setting.
The "eye" with the miniature yellow hand at
the bottom of the main dial is the second
hand. It is connected to the stopwatch
function, and gives you normal seconds for
the time of day. After using the stopwatch
function and resetting, the second hand will
not move (but the watch will still keep time).
If you press the reset button (B) once more,
this will engage the second hand. This hand
will stop when the crown is pulled out to
position 3.
USING THE ROTATING BEZEL
Your watch is equipped with a rotating
bezel. This is the ring around the outside
of the watch face, which gives you a simple
and legible way to track bottom-time on a
dive, or any elapsed time. Simply turn the
bezel so that the arrow marker is opposite
the minute hand. The minute hand will
move forward. You can then read the time
elapsed since you set the bezel, by looking
where the minute hand points on the bezel.
While the intended use of this is for diving,
it can also be useful reminder for everyday
timing. (e.g. remembering elapsed time
on a parking meter!) Also note that, for
safety reasons, the bezel rotates counter-
clockwise only! If you set the bezel for a
dive, then knock it accidentally, this will
only show a greater than actual bottom
time, so you will never underestimate your
bottom time.
USING THE CHRONOGRAPH
TO START TIMING: press the START/STOP
pushbutton (A). Timing will start, and the
stopwatch second hand (the large hand in
the centre of the dial) will start sweeping
round the face in 1 second steps. After 1
minute has elapsed, the small "eye" at the
top of the main dial will show 1 minute, and
continue to record elapsed minutes, as long
as the stopwatch is running. The small "eye"
at 9 o'clock will record 60 minutes (1 hour).
TO STOP TIMING: Press the START/STOP
pushbutton (A) again; the timing will stop.

TO RESET: Stop the stopwatch, then press
fi rmly on the RESET pushbutton (B). The
large centre second hand, minute recorder
and hour recorder will all reset.
RE-ZEROING THE CHRONOGRAPH
If the watch is knocked, it is possible for the
second hand (the large hand in the centre)
to become misaligned: this will prevent
the stopwatch from zeroing correctly. To
re-align the hands, pull out the crown to
position 3, then press button A repeatedly,
until the large second hand points to 12
o'clock. Finally, press the crown fi rmly into
the case and screw it in. Press START (A)
then STOP (A) then RESET (B) to check that
it is zeroing correctly.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT BAND
A selection of alternate bands are available
to fi t your watch: these may include natural
rubber, polyurethane, various styles of
high quality leather bands, or a matching
metal bracelet. If you would like to order

CRYSTAL
Most of our watches are fi tted with a heat-
tempered mineral crystal. Please note that
while this glass is heat-hardened, an impact
with a hard or sharp object can scratch
the crystal, or crack or shatter it. If this
happens, return the watch to one of our
Service Centers, where the crystal can be
replaced for a moderate charge. (Scratches
and impact damage are not covered
under warranty.) A virtually scratchproof
sapphire crystal is standard on all S-Series
models and is available at extra cost for
many other models. Please check with our
Service Department.
TEMPERATURE CARE
Avoid temperature extremes. Exposing your
watch to high temperatures, such as placing
it on the dashboard of a vehicle or use in
a jacuzzi or hot tub may cause the watch
to malfunction, shorten battery life, or
cause deformations of certain components
leading to mechanical failures. Leaving the
watch in extreme cold temperatures may
cause irregular time keeping until the watch
returns to normal operating temperatures.
For these reasons, you should remove your
watch prior to exposure.
TWO YEAR WARRANTY
Great care has been taken to ensure that
your watch will give you many years of
reliable service. It is guaranteed for two
years against any defect caused by a
fault in its manufacture*. Please retain
your purchase receipt as proof of
warranty. The best possible materials and
components have gone into your watch. To
keep it in top condition, please treat it with
care and have it professionally serviced at
regular intervals.

Your watch is equipped
with a screw-down crown system for
maximum water-resistance. Please refer
to your warranty / manual for important
information about this feature.

2/4/6 YEAR EXTENDED
WARRANTY
Please retain your purchase receipt for
proof of warranty. After the initial 2-year
warranty expires, we recommend that
you extend your warranty by sending
your watch to a St. Moritz / Momentum
Service Centre for a Full Service*.
This is a chargeable service which
includes: battery replacement, cleaning,
lubrication, and accuracy tuning of the
movement as required, lubrication or
replacement of all seals, pressure testing
to original specifi cation, return shipping
and insurance (within Canada and the US
only), and a 2 year warranty extension.
After 4 years, send it in for another Full
Service and extend the warranty for a
fi nal two years (for a total of 6 years from
original purchase date). Nobody knows
your watch like we do! Expert technicians,
original parts and the latest equipment
will ensure that your watch is serviced
