1. Charge the speaker by connecting it to a USB power source (min.
500mA) using the micro-USB charging cable. During charging (approx.
2-3 hours), the LED will glow red – it will glow blue once charging is
complete. The speaker may be used during the charging process.
2. Switch the speaker on ('ON') – the front LED will flash blue for about two
minutes to indicate the connection readiness.
3. Establish the Bluetooth
connection to the device ('SPEEDLINK
®
TOKEN') using your audio source (for example a smartphone or tablet
PC). If a code entry is required, please enter the combination 0000. The
front LED will then glow blue. Once the Bluetooth
established, it will be automatically restored after being switched on and
off. Please note that this process may take about 10 seconds.
4. Alternatively, connect the speaker to an audio source using the audio
cable (line in – 3.5mm). An active speaker can also be connected to the
Line-out socket.
5. Keep the Play/Pause button held depressed for three seconds to
disconnect the Bluetooth
connection and connect the speaker to

another device. Refer to the table for additional button functions.
6. If no audio is transmitted for approximately 20 minutes, the speaker
system will switch to stand-by mode. If an audio is transmitted again, the
system will reactivate automatically.
7. As soon as you notice a drop in performance, recharge the speaker. If
you do not intend to use the speaker, simply switch it off (OFF) to save
power.
