1. Introduction
The Solisto.HP-Amp is a high quality
headphone amplifier and supports
the use of very demanding head-
phones due to its high power output
and other characteristics.
The Solisto.HP-Amp features a vari-
ety of audio inputs that offer great
flexibility. In addition to the standard
analogue line input, it is equipped
with both optical and electrical digital
inputs, supporting a range of sam-
pling frequencies that reaches the
professional level of 192 kHz.
Audio systems for hi-fi and home
cinema are becoming ever more
complex and interlink with a host of
different digital and analogue devic-
es. The Solisto.HP-Amp is designed
as a very versatile tool, able to con-
nect with the different parts of any
such system. The device is optimised
to deliver excellent audio quality
while offering best value for money.
In many of these cases the Solisto.
HP-Amp helps by adding a high end
headphone amplifier that connects to
both optical and electrical digital out-
puts of your hi-fi system or any kind
of analogue audio source. Another
advantage is the stylish, high- quality
aluminium housing with a blue light
at the front indicating an audio signal
is present, thus it is not necessary to
hide it.
Please note that the Solisto.HP-
Amp cannot convert signals such
as Dolby Digital, AC3, DTS, 5.1
etc. In such cases, the device – e.g. a
flat screen TV – needs to be switched
to a normal stereo signal.
