circuit, burns, electric shock, lamp explosion, etc.

INSTALLATION

Installing/Replacing the lamps

Before replacing the lamp, unplug mains lead and let the lamp cool down (approx. 5 minutes).
During the installation do not touch the glass-bulbs bare-handed! Please follow the lamp manufacturer's
notes!
Do not install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with a higher wattage generate temperatures the device
was not designed for. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.
For the installation, you need one MR-16 12V up to 20W GX-5.3 lamp.
Procedure:
Step 1: Unscrew the fixation-screws of the top housing-cover.
Step 2: Carefully remove the top housing-cover and the glass plate underneath.
Step 3: If replacing the lamp, remove the old lamp from the lamp-socket.
Step 4: Put the new 12 V GX-5.3 lamp into the lamp-socket.
Step 5: Replace the glass plate and top housing-cover and tighten the screws.

Attachment with the Hanging Bracket

Before attaching the device, make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10 times
the device's weight.
The device must only be installed absolutely planar at a vibration-free, oscillation-free and fire-resistant
location. Make sure that the device is installed absolutely planar by using a water-level.
The device must be installed out of the reach of people.
DANGER TO LIFE!
Only install the lamps with the device switched off!
Unplug from mains before!
CAUTION!
The lamp has to be replaced when it is damaged
or deformed due to the heat!
Do not operate this device with opened housing cover!
