The proper handling of batteries

❐ Batteries can be life-threatening if swallowed. There-
fore keep batteries and the device out of the reach of
young children. If a battery has been swallowed, you
must seek immediate medical attention.
❐ Before inserting the batteries check whether the con-
tacts in the device and on the batteries are clean and
if necessary, clean them.
❐ Only use the battery type specifi ed in the technical
data. Use high-capacity alkaline batteries.
❐ Always replace all batteries. Do not use different bat-
tery types, brands or batteries of different capacitan-
ces. When changing batteries ensure correct polarity
(+/-).
❐ Remove the batteries from the device if they are used
up or if you are not using the device for an extended
period. This way, you can avoid damages attributed
