5. Getting Started

Inserting the battery

• Use one AAA battery.
• To get started using the product or to change
the battery, open the product by removing the
screw(s).
• Remove the protective foil (2) (if present) from the
AAA battery.
• Insert the AAA battery into the battery
compartment. Be sure the polarity is correct.
• Screw the device back together.

Operation

• Press the on/off button (3) to switch the product
on or off.
• If the battery is full enough the LED shines green.
• Please change the battery if the LED shines red.
Note
To avoid damage of the display, please note the
following points:
• Avoid exerting strong pressure with the stylus
on the display.
• Ensure that the display and the stylus are clean
before use. Minor pollutants, e.g. grains of sand,
can cause scratches when using the stylus.
Note
• Be aware that protective films with a thickness
of 0.12 mm or more and glass screen protectors
with a thickness of 0.33 mm or more can affect
the functionality of the input pen even with
maximum signal strength.
• First test the input pen without screen protectors.
• Be aware that angles <= 45° between the pen
and display can affect the recognition of pen
movements. The function therefore also depends
on how you hold your hand.
• When using the pen, make sure that no other
parts of your hand (for example, the ball of your
hand, little finger) come into contact with the
display. The touch recognition of a display cannot
precisely recognise multiple simultaneous points
of contact.
• In general, the recognition of pen movements
also depends on your terminal device.
6. Care and Maintenance
• Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
