1. Connecting the 'S' version cabinets
The 'S' version speaker cabinets are internally wired for 4 ohms standard
operation and will work with any conventional power amplifier. Speaker net-
works can be built by parallel or series wiring of speaker cabinets or as a com-
bination of both wiring modes. For best power efficiency, the total impedance
of the speaker network should be as low as possible without falling below the
minimal recommended speaker impedance for the power amplifier (mostly 2 or
4 ohms).
The following illustrations show how parallel and series wiring of two 'S' type
speaker cabinets works:
