    • Some spectacles are not suitable for ultrasonic cleaning because the frames are made from porous materials, tortoiseshell or hawksbill frame. If you have any doubts, consult the supplier of the spectacles or Lakeland before placing them in the ultrasonic cleaner. LARGE ITEMS If the item is too large to fit completely in the tank, you can use the cleaner with the item partly immersed with the lid open.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE To avoid causing permanent damage: Never operate the unit without water in the cleaning tank. 1. Place the item(s) to be cleaned into the tank. If cleaning small items, place them inside the basket first. 2. Open the lid, using a jug fill the tank with normal, cold or room temperature tap water.

    USING THE ACCESSORIES Basket During the ultrasonic cleaning process, items move around with the agitated water. This may cause small scratches on delicate items if they are placed directly into the stainless steel tank. Use the basket and then place this into the tank. Unavoidably, the basket absorbs some of the ultrasonic energy which may slightly reduce the effectiveness of the cleaning action.

    CARE AND CLEANING After use, ensure the unit is unplugged, switched off and pour the water away and wipe the stainless steel tank and housing with a clean dry cloth. To avoid electric shock DO NOT wash the exterior of the unit with water. The unit should be stored in a cool dry place, away from any heat sources (radiators, etc.) and sources of moisture (bathrooms, etc.).

    VERWENDUNG DES ZUBEHÖRS Innenkorb Während des Ultraschallwellenreinigung werden Gegenstände im sich bewegenden Wasser hin- und herbewegt. Dadurch können Kratzer an empfindlichen Gegenständen entstehen, wenn diese direkt in den Edelstahl-Behälter gegeben werden. Verwenden Sie den Innenkorb und platzieren Sie diesen im Edelstahl-Behälter. Es ist unvermeidlich, dass der Korb Ultraschallwellen absorbiert, was zu einer leicht verringerten Reinigungsleistung führen kann.
