If a fault occurs, first check the points listed below before taking the set for repair. Do not open the set
as there is a risk of electric shock.

Power cord not securely connected
Electrostatic discharge
CD/DVD damaged or dirty
Program is active
No CD/DVD inserted
CD/DVD badly scratched or dirty
Laser lens has steamed up
CD-R/DVD-R is blank or the disc is
not finalized

Solution
Adjust the Volume
Connect the AC cord properly
Switch off and unplug the set.
Reconnect after a few seconds
Replace or clean CD/DVD
Quit program mode
Insert a CD/DVD, CD-R or CD-RW
Replace or clean CD/DVD
Wait until lens has cleared
Use a finalized CD-R/DVD-R
Replace or clean CD/DVD
Wait until lens has adjusted to room
temperature
