3.4 Operating states of the Info LED

The operating states of the Info LED can be freely con-
trolled via the central unit. The Info LED can light up
green, red or yellow.
It can be used to implement an energy traffic light, for
example.

3.5 Exclusion of the plug actuator

"Exclusion" is the process of cancelling the connection
between the central unit and the plug actuator. This
may become necessary e.g. if you would like the plug
actuator to be controlled by a different central unit.
The exclusion process is controlled by the central unit
– refer to the documentation for the central unit.
1. Make sure that no device is plugged into the plug
actuator.
2. Start "Exclusion" mode on the chosen central unit.
3. Press the button on the plug actuator 3 times within
a period of around 2 seconds.
The Status LED lights up white.
The exclusion process for disconnecting the plug actu-
ator from the central unit runs for the next 5 seconds.
The Status LED flashes white 3x once the exclusion
process has been successfully completed.
NOTE
NOTE
During the exclusion process, the plug actuator is reset
to its default (factory) settings. However, the energy
value is retained.

3.6 Deleting energy values

NOTE
NOTE
Energy values can only be deleted via the central unit –
refer to the documentation for the central unit.

4. Maintenance and cleaning

NOTE
NOTE
The SES FS-EO plug actuator is maintenance- free.
Cleaning
Switch off the connected device and disconnect the
device plug from the plug actuator.
Unplug the plug actuator from the mains outlet.
Clean the plug actuator with a soft, clean, dry and
lint-free cloth.

Troubleshooting

5.
5.1 Operating lock – Status LED lights up red
The operating lock can only be enabled at the central
unit. The operating lock can be disabled both at the
central unit and on the plug actuator.
EN-10
Disabling the operating lock at the plug actuator
1. Press and hold the button until the Status LED
flashes red.
2. Release the button and then press it again briefly.
The Status LED flashes 3x red.The operating lock is
thendisable.
5.2 Safety shutdown – Status LED slowly flashes
red
The plug actuator switches the device off automatically
if it detects an overload or excess temperature situa-
tion. The Status LED slowly flashes red (approx. 1x per
second).
Remedy:
1. Switch off the connected device and disconnect its
mains plug.
2. Check the device and – in particular – the mains
cable and mains plug for damage.
3. If necessary, have the device serviced or repaired.
4. Reconnect the device plug and switch on the de-
vice.
NOTE
NOTE
The plug actuator can be configured at the central
to switch back on automatically once the overload or
excess temperature situation is no longer
NOTE
NOTE
If a safety shutdown occurs repeatedly, this
that there is a defect in the connected device or the
device's power consumption is
5.3 Internal fault – Status LED rapidly flashes red
If the plug actuator detects a safety-critical fault during
the self-test, the Status LED will rapidly flash red (ap-
prox. 3x per second).
Remedy
1. Switch off the connected device and disconnect its
mains plug.
2. Unplug the plug actuator and then plug it back in.
3. Wait for approximately 3 minutes.
During this period the plug actuator will run through an-
other self-test.
NOTE
NOTE
If the Status LED stops rapidly flashing red, this
that the self-test has been successfully completed, and
the device can be reconnected.
NOTE
NOTE
If the Status LED starts to rapidly flash red again, the
plug actuator is defective and needs to be replaced.
