AXTON mid/woofers, you must check the available installation depth of the left and right front door. To do this, slide down both windows and hold the AXTON mid/woofers in place to reassure the available installation depth does suf ce. This test is important, failure to do this may let you end up with an impaired window function! Connect the wire from the inline crossover to the main speaker wire in the door. - Seite 4 TWEETER MOUNTING LOCATION The tweeter positioning does exhibit a direct and profound in uence on the front staging of your component system. Depending on the chosen location where the tweeters will be installed, different loudness levels in the high-frequency region will result. To determine the best tweeter location, it may be necessary to carry out short listening tests with the tweeter mounted to different locations inside the vehicle.

TWEETER INSTALLATION There are two ways to install the tweeters of this component set: Surface or fully recessed mounting. Flat Surface Mounting Disassemble the angled surface mount adaptor. Mark and drill holes where you want to x the tweeters. You can use the base cap directly as a template. -

TESTING THE INSTALLED SYSTEM Slowly turn up the volume of your head unit, and listen for distorted sounds. If everything appears to be okay and it just sounds right, check out the speaker balance of the left and right side by adjusting the balance control of your headunit. Shifting the balance to the left channel should provide you with sounds coming solely from the left speaker system, while shifting the balance to the right should do the same for the right speakers. -

ANSCHLUSS DER FREQUENZWEICHEN Suchen Sie einen geeigneten Montageort für die Frequenzweichen. Beachten Sie die angegebenen Polaritäten und vergewissern Sie sich, dass hier alles korrekt angeschlossen wurde! Alle Lautsprecherkabel müssen mit korrekter Polung angeschlossen werden, d.h. Plus auf Plus, Minus auf Minus. Die fertig konfektionierten Anschlusskabel erleichtern Ihnen das korrekte Anschliessen. -

PLAZIERUNG DER HOCHTÖNER Die Platzierung der Hochtöner hat einen recht großen Ein uss auf das klangliche Gesam- tresultat. Je nach Ausrichtung und der relativen Höhe des Montageplatzes der Hochtöner, resultieren unterschiedliche Lautstärken im Hochtonbereich und es ergeben sich durch die Richtcharakteristik der Hochtöner auch unterschiedliche Frequenzgänge. -

MONTAGE DER HOCHTÖNER Die Hochtöner können auf zwei Arten befestigt werden, dem Set liegen unterschiedliche Gehäuse-Adapter bei. Aufbaumontage des Hochtöners Der Hochtöner für Aufbaumontage besteht aus zwei Kunststoff Adapterschalen und der eigentlichen Hochtöner-Systemeinheit. Die Montageadapter werden durch zusammenclippen miteinander verbunden. Markieren und bohren Sie drei Löcher: Ein Loch für die Durchführung des Hochtöner- Kabels durch die Montageunterlage, zwei weitere kleine mit etwa 2,5 mm Durchmesser für die Befestigung der Bodenplatte. - Seite 12 INBETRIEBNAHME DES SYSTEMES Schalten Sie Ihr Radio oder Ihren Moniceiver ein und erhöhen Sie langsam die Lautstärke. Achten Sie auf erhöhte Verzerrungen oder Störgeräusche. Wenn dies der Fall sein sollte, müssen Sie Ihren Einbau nochmals genau überprüfen, im speziellen die Polaritäten der Anschlüsse am Verstärker und den Frequenzweichen.
