Using as Cryotherapy

1. Insert the compress into a plastic bag, e. g. a freezer bag
and place it for at least 2 hours into the freezer. Or leave
the compress in the freezer. If necessary, the compress
will be ready for use. Make sure the freezer bag is tightly
sealed while placing the compress into the freezer.
2. Cover the compress with the cotton protective cover and
place it on the body.
3. Do not use the compress for long time on one spot. If the
compress is too cold and you feel discomfort, wrap a
towel around the compress.

Using as Thermotherapy

1. Heat up the compress without the cotton protective cover
in the microwave for approx. 30 seconds. Microwave
power should be 650 – 750 watts. Turn the compress
around and heat up again for further 30 seconds. Atten-
tion! Microwaves may vary in heating and may have hot
spots. Make sure not to overheat the compress.
2. Cover the compress with the cotton protective cover and
place the compress on the body. The compress should
be warm but not hot! If the compress is too hot, cover
with a towel. Do not use the compress for long time on
one spot.
3. If the compress is not warm enough or you want to heat
up again, remove the cotton protective cover and pre-
heat in the microware.
