    5.4) L ALINITY NDICATORS Our unit has been designed with a system that will protect the pool in the event of insufficient salt. When salinity drops, cell wear increases. Although salt is not consumed when the unit is in operation, it is lost as a result of backwashing the filter, rain, and water losses for whatever cause (except evaporation, which does not cause any loss of salt).

    Lorsque la salinité de l’eau de votre piscine baisse, l’usure de votre cellule augmente. Bien que le sel ne soit pas consommé par le fonctionnement de votre appareil, ce sel est perdu à cause des lavages de filtre à contre-courant, des pluies et des pertes d’eau de toute nature (excepté les pertes par évaporation qui n’occasionneront pas de perte de sel).

Sollte die Zelle einmal gerade AUS sein, stellen Sie den “System Control” – Knopf einfach auf MAX und Sie können die Zellfunktion prüfen.     Die Rückseite der Kontrolleinheit dient der Wärmeableitung. Es ist normal, daß dieser Teil heiß wird. WARTUNG DER ELEKTROLYTISCHEN ZELLE: Die Zelle besteht aus sehr teuren Materialien. Mit korrekter Behandlung erreicht die Elektrode ihre optimale Lebensdauer, bis die delikate Beschichtung schließlich soweit verbraucht ist, daß sie kein Chlor mehr produziert. Während der Elektrolyse lagern sich Salz und Kalk am äußeren und inneren Metallgewebe ab.

    Da diese Bedingungen sehr unterschiedlich sind, ist es ratsam, zu Beginn die Zelle wöchentlich zu prüfen um ein Gefühl für die notwendigen Reinigungsintervalle zu bekommen. Die Ablagerungen können pulverartig weiß sein oder von blau/grüner, seifiger Struktur. Allgemein muß im Sommer mehr gereinigt werden als im Winter. Normalerweise werden die Intervalle immer länger, bis eine Reinigung nur noch einige male pro Jahr nötig ist.
