Please read these instructions carefully before taking the "Clima Sensor" into use.
1. CAUTION!
The "Clima Sensor" is only intended for detecting moisture or water leaks from water beds. Use one "Clima
Sensor" per water mattress or bed-half. Use of the "Clima Sensor" for any other purpose will render the
warranty and all liability claims against the manufacturer void. To ensure optimum functioning, the battery
must be exchanged as soon as it emits a double signal tone, or after 5 years at the latest (from being taken
into operation). Use button cell batteries type CR2032 (3 volts) only.
2. Function
The "Clima Sensor" emits an acoustic signal on being taken into operation, on contact with moisture and/or water, and
when the battery needs replacing:
1 x signal tone on being taken into operation or after battery replacement.
5 x signal tones on contact with moisture and/or water.
In the case of moisture, please air your water bed in accordance with the instructions.
In the case of a water leak, repair the leak or contact your dealer.
2 x signal tones: Battery needs replacing (see point 5 below).
Depending on capacity, the battery can supply up to 27 days of energy for a continuous signal tone.
3. Taking into operation
To take the "Clima Sensor" into operation, remove the battery protection strip which projects from the top of the "Clima
Sensor" housing by pulling it out completely. The "Clima Sensor" will emit an activation signal tone - it is now ready for
operation.
4. Positioning
The optimum place for positioning the "Clima Sensor" is at
the bed head end of the bed, on the entry side.
At the front, the "Clima Sensor" has a protective cap with
4 slits. Caution! The acoustic slits in the housing must point
upwards! Remove the protective foil from the adhesion
points on the back. Insert the "Clima Sensor" between the
water mattress and the saftey liner and push it down until
it reaches or is near the bottom. Do NOT push it
underneath the water mattress! Stick the "Clima Sensor"
firmly to the saftey liner – not to the water mattress.
5. Replacing the battery
Remove the adhesion points from the back of the "Clima Sensor". Two screws will appear underneath. Unscrew the
screws with a screwdriver. Remove the cover of the housing from the top and replace the battery. Make sure to use a
button cell battery type CR2032 (3 volts) only. When putting in the new battery, ensure that the "+" sign of the battery
is pointing upwards. Replace the housing cover and secure it by refittng the two screws in the back of the "Clima
Sensor". Caution! Do not overtighten the screws. On replacement of the battery, the activation signal will be emitted
(see point 2 above.). The old battery must NOT be disposed in the normal household waste. To refix the "Clima
Sensor" in position (on the saftey liner), use the replacement adhesion points supplied with it.
6. Exclusion of liability / other information
Should moisture and/or water leaks occur which unfortunately fail to reach the "Clima Sensor", this may not give rise
to any liability claims against the manufacturer or supplier.
