Assembly step 3
Assembly of the guide rod:
For that purpose secure the guide rod using the bolts and nuts starting at the top step and tighten. Here also a
severe tightening is to be avoided. Finally, secure the nuts of the landing step
Assembly step 4
Adjustment of the indexing bolt:
The adjusting bolt which serves as lock must be so adjusted that the steps can open and close smoothly with
•
drawn out indexing bolt. If this setting is achieved the indexing bolt must be secured (fixed by a locknut)
using the opened nut.
