Determine the joint width and select a suitable tape. Open the roll and cut off the first 2 cm. The joint width is calculated
on the basis of the real (max.) distance between the outer ridge and the masonry. The manufacturer's instructions
concerning the area of use are to be adhered to, taking temperature-related length changes and structural movements
into account. It is recommended that the tape be moistened when using it with narrow joint widths.
Cut off the tape at the upper edge leaving an excess length (upper joint dimension) and form a butt joint in the corner so
that it is flush with the outer edge of the frame. When reaching the end of the roll, form a butt joint and cut off the last

In order to guarantee an optimal mounting, the tape is equipped with a delayed restoring behaviour which is temperature-
related. The tape is also to be stored in a cool space on the construction site at temperatures exceeding 20°C.
It is recommended that the tape be pre-heated in lower temperatures. The complete restoration of Hannoband
can take up to 48 hours after installation. We recommend the use of the Duo Hanno
bottom connection. A permanent nogging is to be provided for the load transference to the lower solidium.

Fugenbreite bestimmen und geeignetes Band auswählen. Rolle öffnen und die ersten 2 cm abtrennen. Die Fugenbreite
ergibt sich aus dem tatsächlichen (max.) Abstand zwischen Außensteg und Mauerwerk. Dabei sind die Herstellervorgaben
zum Einsatzbereich unter Berücksichtigung von temperaturbedingten Längenänderungen bzw. Bauteilbewegungen
zu beachten. Bei geringen Fugenbreiten empfiehlt sich das Anfeuchten des Bandes.

Um eine optimale Montage zu gewährleisten, ist das Band mit einem verzögertem Rückstellverhalten ausgerüstet.
Dieses ist temperaturabhängig. Bei Temperaturen über 20°C ist das Band auch auf der Baustelle kühl zu lagern. Bei
geringeren Temperaturen empfiehlt es sich, das Band vorzuwärmen. Die vollständige Rückstellung von Hannoband
